Amazing
PpeterThe room is large and can open two large suitcases without any problem. The room facing the atrium is very quiet and you can sleep with the window open. The breakfast is very rich and the best we have had on this trip. The only drawback is that it is a little far from the city center, but the transportation is very convenient. Highly recommended!
AAndrew RichardDecor is excellent and the theme of the rooms is cohesive and smart.
Excellent gym but pool was an additional cost, unless you have a suite. This was a disappointment and gives the place a cheap feeling.
There were lots of additional events being held at the hotel which gave the place a noisy and overly busy feel. Often large groups of party goers waiting for lifts at night. Corridors are also quite busy and noisy. There is a feel that hotel guests are a necessary afterthought when these events are held.
Staff ranged from very nice to indifferent and sometimes even disdainful.
Overall I wouldn’t describe this hotel as peaceful or a place that makes you feel at ease.
EEvanI had a fantastic time at Clarion Hotel: The Hub in Oslo. The rooms were large, clean, and quiet. I was on the 12th floor and navigating around the hotel was easy. Everything from check-in, to using facilities, to getting around the city was made better by staying here. The hotel has a small pool, two gym areas, and two saunas on the basement floor which were all great to use. The facilities were clean and modern. Even though the facilities are on the smaller side, it was never too busy that you couldn't use them. I used the gym, pool, and sauna every day, at different times of the day, and it was never too crowded. Finally, this hotel has one of the most incredible breakfast buffets I've ever experienced. The food is SO good and I'm so grateful that there were options for both meat eaters and vegans too. Overall a 10/10 experience.

PPandamengmengdaThe scenery is amazing! It is also very comfortable to work overtime in the common lounge at night.
The room is very small and there is no elevator. It is also a very historical hotel. It is warmer and has a swimming pool.
It is recommended to drive there for convenience.
LLvxingzhenshipingjiaI am very grateful to this hotel for the best impression I have left. The front desk, restaurant, room service... are all moving. All the staff seem to be following the kindness and sincerity of the hotel founder in words and deeds. So this is the most comfortable hotel. The location is excellent, the palace, the port, the theater, the concert hall are all walking distances, and the various ride stations are very close. Next door is the supermarket. The front desk can call a taxi.

SShauna McFaulFor our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit.
My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in.
Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go.
We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel.
I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!
AAnonymous UserExcellent location. Inside train station. Walking distance to many tourist sites. No electric kettle but can get hot water downstairs. Bed needs upgrading.

BBuaixiaodemeijingThis hotel is perfectly adequate, clean, and well-equipped. We traveled from Iceland to Oslo primarily to participate in the Norway in Miniature tour. The next day, we toured Oslo, and the third day, we spent some free time enjoying the Norway in Miniature tour. Everything was perfect. Our trip to Iceland and the five Nordic countries featured the Sognefjord and Hardangfjord in Norway. We stopped for the night in Voss, and the entire journey was breathtakingly beautiful!

TtorinessApartment in great location - easy and picturesque walk or quick subway to central station and downtown area. Great little kitchenette to cook your own meals to save $ with supermarket nearby. Bathroom with washing machine, our washed clothes dried overnight hung up in bathroom because of floor heating. Easy & quick check in process even though no reception. There are staff on site - I got extra towels as soon as I asked. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Oslo.
