Aged hotel that still shine, friendly staff at front desk. Hotel is now under go renovation.

This was my second time staying here.
They were doing renovations on the pool and rooms, so I was disappointed that I couldn't use the pool.
I booked the hotel because it was in a quiet area, but the construction was noisy and it was a disappointing trip.
I regret that I could have stayed at another hotel if they had explained this to me when I made the reservation.
I think it was just a coincidence, but I think it's best to check if you're planning on staying there.
