"Liked · Beautiful and stylish art-deco style hotel with modern touches, and you can feel that it's newly renovated. The location of this hotel is great, right in the heart of Perugia and right in the main shopping street leading up to the main town square. The overall ambiance in this hotel is great! Breakfast was very good, with many fresh options to choose from and a very nicely and dreamy decorated breakfast room. We really enjoyed the fact that you could have breakfast up untill 11.00 o'clock, as this gives you the opportunity to sleep in if you like to. The restaurant waiting staff was also very kind and welcoming. The room is spacious enough and very clean. We got some local chocolates as a welcome gift, and the room came with one complementary water bottle a day. There was also a clothes steamer in the room which was quite nice, as clothes can come out of the suitcase quite wrinkled. Disliked · During check-in, we were said to be given a free room upgrade. However, when arriving in the room, I could not see what the upgrade was as this appeared to be the exact room type that we booked. Still a great room though! We knew this when booking in advance but a small minus when travelling by car is that this hotel has no private parking. However, you could use public parking Piazza Partigiani down the hill, which is only a small walk and can be reached in 5-10 minutes by taking about 5 escalators. The AC in the room was a bit strong, as it was pointed right onto the bed. As we had a room on one of the high floors, the room heat up quite fast. Also, the room came with an enormous terrace but there was no outdoor furniture."

"The service and breakfast were both good. It was not too far from the station, so it was within walking distance. And they gave me welcome chocolates as a service, which was very impressive."

"We have as a group used this Hotel for the Umbria Jazz Festival since 2009, due to events Covid etc, we had not returned for some years. Our visit from the 7th July to the 16th was not a disappointment, the staff remained the same, friendly, extremely helpful in particular Peao, the Matre D. The menu is not extensive but the food supplied is excellent, we used the restaurant more on this occasion than ever before , due to the heatwave at the time, and we were never disappointed. The wine list is first class and not expensive. Fabrizio the Manager helped organize an excellent local wine tasting , well worth discussing at the Hotel with him or his deputies. I am sorry I did not record all the names of staff, in particular the Chef, but we could not fault any of them. The Hotel itself is very clean and practical, bathrooms need a bit of a renovation. However it does not detract from the overall stay. It is a extremely good value and hopefully we shall return for next years festival."
