"Excellent location at the main roundabout just south of the town. Room was comfortable, but bare bones. One highlight was the speed of the wifi, which was outstanding. Check in takes place in the pub on the other side of the car park -- not so convenient in icy or wet conditions."

"Wow wow wow!! Friday night me and a few friends went out for dinner and drinks and it was incredible!! Food was amazing, staff were so friendly and welcoming and a great night was had by all of us. An added bonus that was unexpected was the live music we all enjoyed from the folk club after our meal. I will definitely be returning soon! Thank you"

"Welcoming staff here who were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Food was a mixed experience with some enjoying their meal whilst other choices were rated as poor. The restaurant staff gave good service but breakfast was very overcooked. Beds here were ultra hard and the pillows were poor quality, flat and lumpy. We also had to cope with a route to the rooms where half the floor width was covered in plastic and pots catching drips from a leaky ceiling. Probably would not stay here again."

"The Seaview sits on the harbour side edge of Boddam, a rather remote village which I hadn’t visited for more than five decades – when I used to buy a poke of chips from a van parked down our way. Things have changed. Now, with The Seaview, you’ll receive the best individual attention and professional hospitality surely to be found along this hard-weathered coastal region. And the best, fresh, Peterhead Haddie and Chips you could ever wish for. Not to mention a truly triumphant Cullen Skink. Jamie and his Team clearly work hard to be warm and welcoming to guests, visitors and yet remain forward-reaching and community-focused to those closer to hand. As a result, lunch was an easy, breezy affair; we loved the animated vibe, the personal attention and the considered menu which manages to deliver to every taste. Do yourself a favour – go the extra mile, go posh or go casual, either way you’ll leave with a smile on your face. Whatever the weather."
