"We had two nights here as our final stop on our Slovenia fly drive. Bedroom was lovely with a balcony and sea view. The breakfast was great and all the team were really friendly and helpful. Special mention to Jasmina who was especially nice and helpful. About a 20 minute walk to the town. We managed to swim a couple of times despite the mixed weather."

"The hotel was OK, but definitely too expensive, even in high season. The rooms were big enough, clean and with a big bed. However, the walls are extremely thin, you can hear almost every noise from the neighboring rooms. The breakfast is only average. The mattress was too soft and the pillows were a disgrace. The location wasn't the best, right next to salt fields, but there was a very nice Italian restaurant within walking distance. For €150/night we definitely expect a better standard, or at least €50 less per night."

"The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are fine, but there are a few things that soured my stay. I found the very strong, chemical-floral smell in the lobby and hallways particularly disturbing. Instead of a subtle hotel scent, there was a generic floral fragrance that was far too intense and unpleasant. The rooms themselves were okay, but for the price, I would have expected more. The biggest problem, however, is parking: You have to park in an external garage. While the hotel reimburses part of the cost, so you "only" pay €21 per day, it's still extremely expensive. If you don't know this beforehand, it can significantly impact your stay. All in all: Good location, but the smell and parking costs are real drawbacks."

On the grounds there is a large terrace with furniture where you can spend an enjoyable evening with a glass of wine. ( This you need to buy nearby and bring along.) Downtown Portoroz is within walking distance and Piran is s short drive from here. Breakfast is not served, but there are various cafes nearby. The owner is very friendly and helpful."

"All was perfect, the breakfast is wonderful, so many things, they are also creating you omlets and eggs in a way you would like. The rooms are perfect and nice and clean. Two things as negatives: the most important pool outside is closed and nobody understands why it is closed, the other ine is the parking: i think this should be free as you pay a lot for your stay and so many taxes and you need to pay 24 EUR/ NIGHT!!! as a paying guest in this hotel… nonsense…"

"The hotel is in a good location, and the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. However, the property appears to have two separate buildings: an older/main building and a newer building. The newer building felt more like a budget version of the main hotel, rather than being of the same standard. This was disappointing, as both buildings appear to be marketed under the same hotel brand and rating, which can be misleading for guests. While the location and service were positive, the difference in quality between the buildings should be made clearer at the time of booking so guests know what to expect."

"Loved this place. It's got a 50s vibe decor that's really fun and is on a beautiful location with lots of lounge chairs and stairs that lead to the Adriatic for a swim. The restaurant is really good and so is the free breakfast. It's a lovely 15 minute walk along the waterfront to the Old Town of Piran. Glad we stayed here."
