"Pleasantly surprised, we were going for five days, apprehensively, and we loved the place and the surroundings so much that we stayed two more days. Thanks to everyone, especially Veronica, who was always available. The restaurant was excellent, both in terms of quality and prices. Everything was very tidy and super clean. "We spent 6 days hiking from village to village, 2 nights we spent at Hotel De Tárbena, and I give the small inn the highest rating. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern, with fantastic views of the village, the mountains and on a clear day the Mediterranean. The location is in the center of the old village, next to the church and a nice cafe. The owner, Juan, cooked wonder meals, accommodating for a vegetarian and gluten allergy. Juan is a gourmet chef and our best meals in the 10 days in Spain came at his table. Juan is also a wonderful raconteur and told us many interesting stories about local history and geography. He has great taste in music and I enjoyed sitting in the lobby listening."
