Leon Dormido Rooms & Apartments ★★

"The hostel is fine for the price during the summer months, especially considering the short notice for booking. However, we were a little unsettled by the yellow roe deer head on the wall, as well as the books about witches and the Virgin Mary in Valencian. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom (which resulted in a skid), and the cleanliness was just adequate. Otherwise, we had a good night and slept well (thanks to the diazepam and melatonin), even though the window faced a bus stop and was next to an arcade. We woke up with all our organs intact, without any cuts or stitches (irony intended). We'd definitely repeat the experience. (It's excellent for one night.)"

B&B HOTEL Finestrat ★★

"Very pleasant. Friendly staff. And complimentary 24-hour coffee."

Barceló la Nucía Palms ★★★★★

"Firstly can I say the resort is beautiful, rooms lovely and no fault at all if it was purely on this it would be 5star .. cleaning so very good too However This is predominantly Spanish resort and quite remote from bars and restaurants. It’s a taxi ride really to get to anywhere Where this resort really lacks is service predominantly at the pool bar. The staff unless your Spanish are quite rude and ignorant.. service is slow and somehow you feel like your being an inconvenience to them Food is ok however restricted to one buffet restaurant which on an evening doesn’t open until 8pm again I think possibly set up for the Spanish way of life .. not much to do on resort on a night and prices are quite expensive Cocktails are lovely and reasonably priced at €10 but other drinks expensive 2 vodka and Diet Coke €22 which is excessive but I guess they can because of how remote it is There is no one who stands out on resort which is sad really .. you normally have people to mention but not this time Would I return no .. and I have stayed with the Barcelo group in the past but won’t be coming back to this one again sadly"
