Hotel Satel
"Stayed with a small group at the hotel. very good location near to center & Forum shopping center.Rooms are nicely renovated with balcony like in 4 stars hotel.Excellent breakfast. Very good service both at the reception and restaurant. Dinner could be improved by more variety. Wil definately stay again at this hotel"
Hotel Europa
"An excellent real hotel with a culture of service from 1898. Almost IN the rail station. Excellent cafe elegant. Great staff"
Hotel 63
"Basic family hotel. Decent."
Hotel AquaCity Riverside
"The hotel is inside the stadium tribune, which is quite an interesting fact. You have to look very close to see the entrance of the hotel, but the hotel is great. The rooms are modern, clean, cozy, warm and you have enough space for all you stuff (including ski equipment). The hotel is very well located, in a quite neighborhood but very close to the old town and the city center. You get free entrance to the Aquapark, which is a great bonus. The restaurant of the hotel is small, but nice decorated. The food is OK, always warm and you have enough diversity, so you have from where to chose. The staff is very professional, friendly, nice and willing to help. Another plus point of this hotel is the fact that you have easy access to the highway to go to the ski resorts."
Wellness Penzión Vila Mery
"We did a quick overnight at Vila Mery on our way from Poprad to the High Tatras. The staff were so accommodating and pleasant. The breakfast was a lovely buffet of items. Families would enjoy time at this pension. The ample outdoor space has a children’s play structures. The pension is close to the local shopping forum and pedestrian shopping area. It is located on a very quiet street."

Vila Martina
Hotel AquaCity Seasons
"First Impression and Rooms The hotel presented three double rooms with noticeably varied layouts: one had a sofa, another a balcony, and the third, though lacking both, featured a larger bathroom. While the rooms were aesthetically pleasing, the experience was marred by excessive heat. Despite turning off the heating, the air conditioning maintained a frustratingly high temperature of 26–28°C, making it challenging to cool the rooms below 22°C. Additionally, the air conditioning system was excessively noisy, even in quiet mode, making it difficult to sleep peacefully. Questionnaires and feedback forms were provided in the rooms, but no pens or pencils were available to complete them. The in-room coffee was instant Nescafé, which felt underwhelming compared to the potential of offering Nespresso machines. On the positive side, room cleaning and towel service were provided daily, and the mattresses were comfortable. However, the beds often consisted of two separate mattresses pushed together rather than one large bed, which could affect comfort for some guests. Check-In and Check-Out The check-in and check-out processes were fairly smooth and efficient. The hotel offers an online check-in option, which seems convenient in theory. However, this feature is unavailable when booking more than one room. Even when using the online check-in, guests are required to upload pictures of their passports, but the hotel still requests physical passports upon arrival, making the online form feel redundant. Hotel Facilities The hotel provided a chip bracelet for access to the facilities, but the use of these fabric bands seemed questionable from a hygiene perspective, as they appeared to be recycled. The pool area was enjoyable, and while the equipment and surroundings were generally good, they did show signs of aging. The sauna selection was impressive, though there were strict rules for use, many of which were ignored by other guests. The hotel enforces a strict no slippers/flip-flops policy in the sauna, citing hygiene reasons. However, this felt somewhat inconsistent, as some guests had visible toenail fungal infections, which seemed even more unhygienic. Additionally, the floors around the facilities were slippery, and I observed several people falling, so caution is advised. Dining Experience Dining at the hotel was the biggest disappointment. Coffee, tea, and juices were not available during dinner, only at breakfast, despite the all-inclusive package. One evening, a free jug of tap water was placed on our table, but on the second night, we were charged €3 for the same tap water. This charge was justified as part of their policy, but we were not informed in advance that tap water would incur a charge, which felt misleading and unfair. On a positive note, the hotel offered some typical Slovakian dishes, which were flavorful, along with healthy options. However, the selection included commercially packed items like pâtés and soft cheese, which felt lazy"
