"I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The grounds are well kept and there's an intention to the landscaping and figures in the gardens that is worth exploring further. The hummingbirds are amazing and it's lovely to spend time in the gardens. The food was delicious and one feedback I want to share is that when I went to check out, I was asked to pay for a meal that I am 95% sure that I paid already. I wasn't able to get a receipt at times and found this difficult. The food isn't too expensive which is good, but I hope a better system can be found for keeping track of these things. Overall, the view of Lake Titicaca is spectacular and it's definitely worth getting up for the sunrise!"

"A more accurate description would be “Below Standard”. The rooms are very basic. One morning the hot water was only warm, there is no ventilation in the bathroom, and there is a shower curtain. The room is tiny. The pillows are awful. Perhaps it is because it is low season with low occupancy, but the fire was never lit. The breakfast was very poor with stale bread, and 3 tiny cold pancakes and sloppy scrambled eggs.One morning we had to search for a knife and fork because there was no one there. The fridge near reception sells cold drinks - except they aren’t cold. The first night I was able to get ice, the second night I was told they don’t provide ice. The common areas were freezing so to walk from your room to breakfast you needed a jacket. The location was good - that’s about all it has going for it."
