"Super clean room, slept wonderfully in a very comfortable bed."

"Beautiful hotel with an interesting history. We stayed in a deluxe family room which gave us a little more space than usual in a hotel room. An outside seating area was also a bonus. The grounds are beautifully kept and worth exploring with a camera in hand. (I particularly enjoyed using the tree swing and I'm on the wrong side of 60!) Every member of staff we came across greeted us warmly and the breakfast ladies were a delight. There were weddings being held on both days we were there but there was no noise disturbance to other guests. Can't wait to return!"

"We stayed for a night in this hotel to discover the beautiful area and enjoy the surrounding. The hotel is clean, well decorated and warm full. The personal is very friendly and helpful. there are available options such as sauna, bike renting ... that are very welcome. The restaurant and the bar are great and food/drinks are of high quality. the food offering is large enough to satisfy all needs and flavors at a reasonable cost. The rooms are well furbished, clean and bedding was of good quality. The element that was really not at all acceptable and very disappointing is the bathroom ... this is just not a bathroom at all as per the pictures. there is not even a decent sink. This was toilets with a shower and this was really not adequate for an hotel room of this level. There was not even any heating in the bathroom and not even a towel warming so that towels were humid and moist on the next day. When we entered the room, the heating was set to zero although we are still in winter. Needless to say, it was really cold and it took several hours for the room to heat up. Very unprofessional. Next time, if any, I will ensure the hotel management will provide a room with a decent bathroom and if none, I'll select an other hotel. Besides this, the stay would have been OK."

"We stayed at the hotel from May 26 to May 29, 2022, in a Superior Comfort room. Room 207. The room was fine with an excellent bed, but the bathroom was very disappointing. Small, old-fashioned, and not very clean. There wasn't even a rack to put your toiletry bag on. You could only store your toiletries on a small shelf above the sink. The toilet was not very clean and is in need of a thorough cleaning. Brown deposits were visible in the curve of the bowl and under the water surface (I am not talking about traces of stool, but brown deposits resulting from a lack of maintenance). The breakfast room is not particularly cozy. A few tables for two and four, but mostly long rows of tables where you have to queue. The breakfast is just boring and not very varied. Boring bread. The same selection every day. A bowl of fresh fruit is probably too expensive, so just fruit from cans, though with some freshly cut pineapple mixed in. One plus point: good coffee."
