Our home from home. We love everything about this hotel and location which is why we return so many times. The staff are all excellent from management through to all areas, reception, chefs, restaurants, bars, housekeeping, maintenance, gardeners, entertainment and animation teams. Everyone is always friendly and smiling and available if you need them. Check in super quick & efficient and we were in our room, unpacked , drink and walking down the beach within an hour. Our room was kept lovely and clean with everything we needed by the lovely Erica who also left amazing towel art. The Grogue bar staff always serve you with a smile and chatter even when really busy and the bar staff in the main Muscat bar always around if you need a top up. Freddie, Ronise, Lany, Vania , Dennis, Kevin to many to mention but all excellent. The Africa restaurant was as superb as always. Food super delicious at every meal time. All areas kept clean and checked at all times. The chefs do an exceptional job and the food always looks and tastes good. It baffles me when people say they cannot find things to eat or it’s the same all the time. We don’t eat meat and can always find different things to eat at every meal time. There is always a good selection of fish, different pastas, pizzas, salads, vegetarian selection and for meat eaters always different roasts and lot of other choices. Breakfast selection is amazing. Again the staff are all fantastic and we were looked after really well by Ethel, Reny and Wilton 😊 Paris and Meloney 😘 The hotel and grounds are kept spotless and really well maintained by the army of staff who all do a great job. The beach is just amazing and you can walk for miles either way and there is always somewhere that you can get in the sea to swim. Depending on when you go is dependant on the roughness of the sea. We had 10 nights in September and only one day was there a red flag, all other days were green or yellow so people able to enjoy the beautiful sea as well as the pools. All in all a fantastic hotel made more special by the wonderful staff. Thank you again to everyone and we can’t wait to return again in February 🥰🥰🥰

Our hoilday started the moment we walked into the hotel, drinks on arrival and a smile to die for. Onto the reception were the happy face's do not stop, the kind man helped arrange a electric chair for me to get around for the ten days we are there, with no problems at all, arrived within the hour. onto the room which was outstanding and immaculate. My brother and his wife had the room next door, we went all inclusive and did not wont for a thing, we had every thing! from drinks to cakes and food fit for a king. from the gardenrs to "Hollie" at the swim up bar to the restaurant staff, sorry girls and boys can not remember all your names, But i will never forget all your wounderful smiles every day we meet. From myself and the wife, my brother and his wife, we will be rebooking a return vist. Just one fantstic hoilday.

The Riu Boavista Palace was faultless in all respects. The staff are SO welcoming and friendly. The whole set up ... accommodation, food, facilities are just perfect.

We spent 2 weeks and as the locals say ‘no stress’ , the whole complex was so clean as the cleaning staff were constantly sweeping up. The food was extremely good with a great choice and quality. The best feature was the RIU app on your phone so we could see the availability of the Al La Carte restaurants also if there was anything you needed for the room housekeeping were there within 15 minutes. The beach was beautiful and on our morning walks we would find late hatching turtles heading for the sea which we helped on their way, also juvenile hammerhead sharks in the shallows, it was an awesome experience. We will definitely be looking to book here again as soon as possible.

Overall pretty good. Food and staff very good. Entertainment choice very limited. Perhaps keeping one of the pool bars open with softer music away from the larger "stage" would be better. It would have certainly been the case for us.

Lovely relaxing holiday. Staff very friendly and helpful. Jappenese was an unexpectedly but great experience .

Location from airport to hotel was 3 minutes. The hotel was clean, well kept, modern and easy access all over. The staff were amazing, helpful & friendly - nothing was too much for them. RIU reception staff were great. TUI reps were always available & helpful. Cape Verde is a beautiful island. Only suggestion I have is to keep all the food covered in the buffet restaurant and to have a bar actually on the beach!

Just returned from 2 glorious weeks at this hotel. We have visited the Island quite a few times, staying at the other hotels. This Hotel, well exceeds the others, in service and quality. I won't write war and peace like others, as everything has been already said. We both had stomach upsets, but this could have been caused by many things I.e, heat, flies, food being re heated, but certainly didn't spoil our holiday in anyway. Highly recommended and were certainly returning next year. Just a couple of points to note, Be respectful of the staff and the Island. Take things off the beach when you're finished. Don't expect the staff to clear up after you! The staff always smile and acknowledge you, shame senior management can't. They avoid eye contact for some reason. Lead by example! Book this hotel, sit back and enjoy.
