"Faves hotel is strategically located right in front of Rantepao town square, within short walking distance of many authentic and delicious local eateries such as Pong Buri and Cafe Aras. The room is quite spacious, equipped with a Smart TV, and the Wi-Fi connection is reliable. The only downside is the hot water, which takes a while to warm up, and the shower pressure could be stronger. Breakfast was good—though the spread was limited, the food quality was surprisingly solid. They also have a decent rooftop cafe. Parking space is somewhat limited, but the security team is very helpful with parking your vehicle. Would definitely stay here again when I’m back in Rantepao!"

"Horrible experience. This is a very old hotel, and did not maintain /update their facilities for long time. Trip advisor showed good reviews before Covid time. However, as many travellers say in recent reviews, this hotel has full of dust and mold. We paid extra for larger room with bathtubs. But I have never seen that bathroom was so dirty with dust , stain, and mold.. The amenities were never changed for long time, so packaging had stains & out of date. The fridge & aircon were broken. Inside of fridge had mold. The coffee mugs and spoons were left as the previous traveler used, and never washed. So sugar was sticked to these items. This hotel was booked for us by our travel agency. They quickly changed our hotel to another hotel due to this horrible situation. "

"You are quite limited for choice in Toraja and this hotel was perfectly adequate concidering lack of choice. We had a problem with our first room, noisy and some suspect wires hanging out of the wall. This was dealt with very well and we were immediately upgraded to a better room. We were touring around most of the time but the pool area was lovely at the end of a long day. I left my wife momentarily around the pool and she was approached by some creepy guy who we think was part of a corporate event taking place. She was made to feel very uncomfortable but I guess that can happen anywhere. Food was pretty good and the staff very friendly. Overall it was clean, friendly and ok for a base whilst in the fantastic Toraja region."

And in addition to their great kindness, they provide excellent service. Both in terms of tourism and service. Bus ticket purchases. Since we were taking a night bus, we were offered to keep our room until departure time, even without asking."

"Hotel Indra, a legendary hotel, has been known for a long time, in Rantepao. The facilities are complete: air-conditioned rooms, soft beds, android TV, shower with hot water, unlimited breakfast (when I first arrived I was immediately told to have breakfast, even though I hadn't checked in), oh yeah, with unlimited Toraja coffee. Breakfast menu: fried rice with fried egg, soy sauce chicken and crackers, and bread with their own pineapple jam (I like it!) and chocolate sprinkles. In front of the room there is a garden full of well-maintained trees, or a tongkonan for sitting, suitable for those who want to be alone here. The location is in the middle of Rantepao city, easy to the nearest restaurants, the town square, and night bus representatives. It's just a shame, the shower gel and shampoo in my room were not checked by room service, and were not filled after I told the front office."
