"Booked it on line after reading reviews. Location is the best on the Amalfi coast. Family owned for generations, and they are very proud of it. Quaint place but the views from the balcony are outstanding. Lovely room out onto a balcony. Very comfortable. Great breakfast Short walk into the village of Ravello which has a church and the magnificent Villa Gimbrone. Amazing ceramic stores especially Cosmolema's. We flew to Naples and the hotel arranged a pick up. Its about a 90 minute trip cost 150 Euros. We taxied down to Amalfi and left out bags with the Amalfi Porters (very trustworthy) and got a ferry to Sorrento"

"We had an amazing stay in La Moresca located in beautiful Ravello. Having booked direct with the hotel, we arrived late in the evening having spend the day hiking the path of the gods. After parking the car at their recommended garage, who then transported us straight to the hotel, we were greeted by Anna. She made us feel incredibly welcome during our whole stay and genuinely delighted to see us, giving us excellent tips on the restaurants in Ravello and all the local highlights & info. Nothing felt too much trouble for her to make our stay special. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with small selection of prepared hot food and an wide selection of pastries, cereal, cheeses, cold meats, breads, fruit with juice and freshly made coffee plentifully supplied by the very friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you to everyone for such an excellent stay."

"The hotel is on a cliff, and the view of the Amalfi Coast from the room, restaurant and hotel is very beautiful! The hotel is very quiet, the room is very large and has an all-white minimalist style. There is just a bit of drainage smell for a while, but fortunately it doesn't last long. Ravello is a 15-minute walk away."

"Disappointing policies and practices at La Moresca. We cancelled our trip from Boston the morning we were supposed to leave because my sister had emergency surgery the night before. Unfortunately, she did not survive. We received kind consideration and refunds from every other vacation provider, but not from La Moresca, despite the fact that they had the longest lead time, since we were not scheduled to stay until 7 days into our trip. Furthermore, I could tell from their website availability that they rebooked the room for at least one night of our scheduled stay, and possibly more. I contacted they immediately and followed up twice more and was told that their policy was to keep my full room tariff. I understand that a late emergency cancellation can hurt a small business, and that Italian law allows this practice, but this hotel did not offer the ability to make a reservation with full refund, and every other place was very kind and accommodating. If you have other options, I recommend that you book accommodations with a more caring and understanding place."

"Excellent hotel. Incredibly beautiful city. Located next to a distillery. We were checked in right away and given complimentary water and a bottle of limoncello. Excellent breakfast at Mimi Pizzeria, staffed by a Russian-speaking woman. Amalfi is an hour down the stairs or a 25-minute bus ride. I highly recommend it."

"A very good hotel. The key is the service. If you have any questions before going to the hotel, send an email and they will reply within almost 10 minutes. After arriving at the hotel, all the staff were very polite and I felt like I was at home. The hotel's facilities and furnishings both reflect the Italian style and are extremely high-end. The hotel's private sea water is on the edge of a rock and there is no beach, but the service is particularly good. I think the quality of sea water is average."
