"We have stayed here several times and fed back to managers about the poor state of the tables & chairs in the breakfast area. Although my feedback (with photos) was not acknowledged, on our last visit just before xmas, we noticed the badly stained and chipped tables had been replaced or refurbished, and the badly stained and dirty seating had been cleaned and/or replaced, so that it now feels comfortable to sit on them. So I'm pleased my feedback may have contributed to these much needed changes. However the window frames in our room were in a terrible state, covered in black mould and in desperate need of repair or replacement. Not a healthy presence to have anywhere. So hopefully this review will be seen by the right person/people and acted upon."

Abbey Hotel Golf & Spa

"Check in quick. Room was surprisingly large, next to noisy family but can’t be helped. Huge bed! Plus a bed for our soon and a camp bed! Plenty of space and very modern. Tv had no remote so had to go to reception and ask for one. Ordered room service but had to go to desk to pay and told one minute it wouldn’t be ready until gone 6 (an hour after ordering) but turned up within half hour. I’d say that’s the only downside was the conflicting info given by staff. Spa is nice, small pool area and steam and sauna again very small and was super busy so had to wait to enter both. I didn’t stay long as kids only allowed in between 4&6 and I’m morning slot also. Would stay again."

Old Rectory House, Redditch

"We booked Old Rectory House for our wedding in December 2025. We cannot praise Ellie enough for her help with organising the perfect day. The venue is stunning and intimate and we lost count of how many comments we had on how beautiful both the house and outside areas were. Ellie was there to meet us when we arrived on the day and was instrumental in helping us set up the venue to how we wanted it. Every request was met positively and carried out above our expectations. The catering staff and food were fantastic and the bar staff on the day were amazing and were so professional and quick at serving our guests with big smiles on their faces. A big shout out also to the cleaning/housekeeping crew who packed everything away the following morning to take away with us, we did not have to lift a finger! The rooms were immaculate and everyone who was fortunate enough to stay loved their accommodation and a big plus was that all the rooms were ready for the guests much earlier than expected. I honestly cannot stress how perfect this venue is and the team, both visible and behind the scenes, worked so hard all day to make our wedding effortless and stress free for us - a massive thank you to you all. This really is a gem of a place and we cannot recommend it highly enough."

"Made to feel welcome by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist Room everything I expected it to be clean, comfortable and as usual a comfortable bed. Receptionist, when asked, informed us of a long walk we wanted to take which was of exceptional beauty Arrow Park just a few minutes drive from the Hotel We took the meal deal and was not disappointed as that was excellent too. Again staff very helpful and pleasant making you feel glad to be there Overhaul a pleasant visit"

"The hotel facilities are old. I booked it on short notice. I couldn't find a suitable one. I will look for a hotel with a higher rating next time. Only breakfast is ok The basin drain was broken. I notified the front desk but no one came to fix it when I left. I stayed for two nights and the basin didn't work. It was very uncomfortable."
