Hostess and host are both helpful and friendly. We arrived early and were allowed to store our luggage. The room was clean.
What we liked most was that there was a big window that can be opened and the room is very bright.
In addition the location of the apartment is very convenient. Bus stop 14 is about 5-6mins walk. And there are nice restaurants around the area. The church is nearby too. The host was kind enough to let us store our luggage on the day when we checked out. Overall it’s a nice stay. It added to the good memories of our Iceland trip.

L’appartamento si trova in centro, vicinissimo alla famosa cattedrale; nella capitale i bus non possono sfrecciare per le strade del centro, per cui noi siamo arrivati con un taxi dall aeroporto di Keflavik (era notte fonda, zona super sicura). Siamo entrati col codice fornitoci tramite la chat di Booking, tutto ok. L’unico piccolo difetto è che la nostra camera dava sulla strada, per cui la mattina sentivamo un po’ di rumore del traffico, ma chi ha il sonno pesante non dovrebbe avere problemi. Io ho il sonno leggero, gli oscuranti color panna, che non aderivano perfettamente alle finestre, facevano entrare un po’ di luce al mattino (allego foto). Per il resto c’era una tv, in microonde, un letto matrimoniale e un divano letto (lenzuola pulite), asciugamani in quantità, shampoo e bagnoschiuma, phon, posate, strofinacci, detersivo per piatti, cucìnino con due fornelli ad induzione, frigorifero. Allego foto (a noi piace mangiar fuori, per cui non abbiamo minimamente usufruito del cucìnino). Molto simpatico e gentile il manager/concierge Porsteinn, presente al mattino a partire dalle ore 11. Temperatura della camera piacevole. Materassi comodi. Presenti tante prese (non serve adattatore). Forse camera un po’ piccola per 4 persone (noi eravamo solo in 3), comunque prezzo imbattibile… ho cercato a lungo sia su Airbnb sia su Booking, 750 eur per 4 notti a Reykiavik è un prezzo ottimo. This is a great apartment for a short stay in the city. Good value, clean, comfortable, cosy and excellently located. The fridge, microwave and kettle were all really convenient. Good size for two people…not as tight as we expected. Communications about how to get access and amenities in the area were really clear. Would recommend.

Excellent location right in the center, small studio for two, very cozy, clean and functional. Equipped kitchenette and super comfortable bedding. The owner is friendly and very responsive. It’s good value for money (for Iceland ;-)

Walking distance to places of interests, and even to bus stops where the tours pick you up. Every morning we would to a nice cafe, or walk to a nice restaurant for lunch and dinner. The place has everything you need. We have a two year old, and the owners made sure we have everything we need. Maybe just an advice would be some hooks at the bathroom to hang towels, and a magnet for the door to stay open if you are carrying heavy stuff. Other than this, we had a lovely stay, and will come back in a heartbeat.

Our location and amenities were excellent, very friendly welcoming by a manager who explained the workings of the studio as there is no concierge. Our communication with the manager was thru email then on . If we had any question, anything else , email was promptly answered. The place was also handy for making a quick meal because we enjoy the occasional home made food. The tours we scheduled were also happy with our location, easy pick up and drop off. We also enjoyed the quiet peace at night , all in all positive experience!

The apartment provided everything we needed for our short stay. It was clean and a good size for our family of 4. The owner was friendly and checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The location is what makes this stand out. In the center of Reykjavík and only one street away from the main shopping area. There is a well served bus stop right outside the front door. The only negative is that the kitchen could benefit from some additional utensils, particularly a pair of scissors and a sharp knife. Highly recommended, mainly due to the fantastic location.

The location is great - right in the city center, the apartment is clean, it has comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well equipped, even had a toaster, microwave, etc. The owners respond within 15 minutes to anything you need and made us feel very welcomed. thank you!
