Hampton Inn & Suites Richmond

The hotel was nice and clean. Entrance Was inviting with water available. The staff was welcoming and wanted to accommodate. The rooms were clean and nice looking. I had confidence that everything was clean. The pool looked good; I didn’t use it, but next time I’ll bring a suit. Workout room was small but had a nice variety of equipment.

Our stay was short but good no complaints.

Some bed linen got missed when it was supposed to be changed and laundered. Because of that, the bed smelled of a sweaty body.

This hotel is very nice and clean. The beds are fairly comfortable and the rooms are larger than average. The employees were all very nice and welcoming. We had an accesible room since that was all that was available. We are not young, so we thought the walk-in shower would be a good idea. The shower had an odd design as there was no raised edge. Water ran out onto the floor, although there was a draIn in the middle of the bathroom floor. We had to put towels down so we didnt walk on the wet floor. Breakfast was just okay. Something was off with the waffle maker so the waffles turned out dark brown. The muffins were dry and did not seem fresh. While it was nice to have bananas and oranges, we would love to see cut fruit like melons and strawberries. I also miss the days of real plates and silverware. Eating a waffle with a plastic fork is not easy, and it is less environmentally-friendly.

It was a nice stay for the night.
