"When you search for Rijeka on Google Maps, Hotel Kontinental immediately pops up as the main result. It's a grand and beautiful hotel, truly representative of the area with an excellent location. The breakfast is superb, and the staff are all very friendly. However, the hotel is old, so the rooms are a bit dated, and there's no refrigerator. Despite that, I had a good two-night stay."

"Let's start with the hotel. The rooms are very noisy; normal conversations and the sound of water from the next room directly enter our room. Breakfast is mediocre. But the main reason I'm giving it one star is something else. I checked out of the hotel, finished my business in the city, and while waiting for the bus to Zagreb, it was time for midday prayer. Since the hotel is very close to the terminal, I went and asked if I could pray for 5 minutes in a suitable place. The man in the lobby first said the rooms were being cleaned and weren't available. I said I didn't want a room. There's a seating area on the upper floor near the kitchen entrance, I'd seen it that morning. I pointed it out, saying there was no one there and I could finish my business in 5 minutes. He said there was no prayer room. When I insisted, he said to ask the kitchen staff if they would allow it. I went out and, of course, prayed without asking. These people are so insensitive that they would refuse even a simple, humane request and create problems. It's actually a summary of Western civilization."

Suggestion: After the guest pays the order, the Chinese and English bilingual check-in tips should be provided simultaneously: the front desk is not on duty, please go directly to the fourth floor after finding the hotel door, how much is the room number, the key is in the box by the door, and the box password is how much, so that the guest can successfully self-check in."

"The Hotel is in a perfect spot for central Rijeka within walking distance. Shame the hotel requires some updating. Rooms and bathrooms have overdue needs for updating. The lift is loud and takes forever to come to your level. The staff all except one young male who was super polite. The rest had no interest in their clients. Sadly we will not stay again even though it’s central to city."
