"First of all, a big thank you to the front desk for upgrading my room from a Premium Lake View to a Kijimu Cinema Lake View room – the view was absolutely stunning.
Basic necessities like water and tissues were delivered very promptly when requested.
Now, for a few issues:
1. **Smoking Issue**: As soon as we entered room 4005, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. I suspect it might have come through the fresh air ventilation system. Also, room 4002, just around the corner on the same floor, had its door open and someone was smoking, letting the smell waft out. I didn't find any staff to report it to at the time. The cigarette smell in the room was really unpleasant. Down in the lobby, people were smoking, and the front desk only intervened after we specifically asked them to. I'm sure the staff saw and smelled it, but if we hadn't said anything, they probably wouldn't have actively stopped it.
2. **Dining**: The late-night snack service offers congee, but literally *only* congee. I'd suggest they diversify the offerings. As for breakfast, seating is limited, so you might have to queue if it's busy. The breakfast selection itself is quite good, and you definitely won't go hungry. However, I'd recommend the restaurant keeps disposable chopsticks on hand. A staff member curtly told me they didn't have any, which was lucky as I had my own disposable chopsticks.
Overall, the hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent view, and the service is generally acceptable."
