"The sea view was absolutely stunning, and my kids loved it! Head up to the 7th floor rooftop for an even more amazing sunrise and sunset experience. The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

"After exiting the high-speed rail station, someone from the guesthouse was already there to pick us up. The next day, someone drove us to Fenjiezhou Island. When we wanted to visit nearby beaches, they lent us electric scooters for free, and cruising around was super enjoyable! The young ladies and the drivers were all very enthusiastic. In the evening, they brought us some fruit, and breakfast was provided in the morning. On top of all that, the accommodation price was really affordable – excellent value for money! Five-star rating! The picture shows the coconuts in the yard; there were so many hanging there."

I chose Raffles Hotel based on everyone's reviews, and while I knew it was good, I didn't expect it to be this amazing! I won't even go into how beautiful the Lingshui Clear Water Bay beach is, where the hotel is located. Let's just talk about the hotel itself. The environment is truly superb, with tasteful landscaping and decorative details. The service is even more incredible. From check-in to turndown service, and even the little details provided on the beach and by the pool, Raffles' service standards are miles above other hotels. Thank you, Raffles Hotel, for such a wonderful stay, and for adding so many beautiful memories to our family trip to Lingshui! I hope we can meet again in the near future!

My ideal hotel:
1. **Smooth Communication**: Pele (the staff member) understood guests well; communication was perfectly fine.
2. **Comfortable Hardware**: Comfy bedding, a spacious bathroom, double sinks... The rooms, starting at 88 square meters, speak for themselves. The privacy design is excellent, and while the garden views aren't stunning, they're perfectly adequate.
3. **Rich and Delicious Breakfast**: Having experienced a breakfast with 7 different egg options, it would take a truly exceptional hotel to rival it... Absolutely fantastic! And they don't stop serving until 11 AM, even at 11:30 AM, there's still food available, which is really great.

Of course, there's always room for improvement in the details of management:
1. **Bathroom Trash Can**: The trash can in the bathroom was a bit low-end – a stainless steel flip-top. It looked plain and ugly, and the flip-top made it hard to throw garbage in.
2. **Lack of Assistance**: The 'butler' who escorted us to our room didn't offer to help with our belongings (takeaway food) at all. The room introduction was also very perfunctory (perhaps because I'm an overweight mom with an underage child, looking like country bumpkins in the city, so there wasn't much joy in communication for them).
3. **Billiards Chaos**: Billiards required a reservation (for a billiard competition), but there was no one on-site to organize it. We waited as per our reserved time, but other guests were using the table, and we were told to communicate with them ourselves...
Despite these minor flaws, the positives outweigh the negatives. I'll definitely go back next time I don't have the kids with me. Let the kids take their girlfriends there themselves in the future!

Guest UserI traveled with my best friend and stayed at the hotel for two days, so I wanted to write a proper review. We didn't do any research before choosing Xiangshui Bay; we just picked this hotel when we saw it. We drove there ourselves, which was convenient. The hotel is about 700-800 meters from the street, located in a villa area. The butler had informed us of our license plate number beforehand, as other cars aren't allowed in this area. Upon entering the villa area, I was struck by how large it was, but it felt a bit deserted. The check-in area wasn't what I expected. Having stayed at Raffles Hotel before, I assumed it would be similar, but there were only two young men there to greet us. However, I must say that the two men who greeted us were incredibly patient, and they should have upgraded my room for free—it was a whopping 500 square meters! After check-in, the butler took us to our room, and wow, it was huge! It took several minutes to get there in the sightseeing vehicle. Now, let's talk about the hotel itself. For this price, the room was excellent value. While the hotel facilities weren't particularly new, they were comprehensive and very comfortable. We had such a pleasant stay that we didn't want to leave. The butler was always available, which was wonderful. The hotel's public areas were a bit messy, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but the overall scenery was nice. I wasn't very satisfied with the food; breakfast wasn't a buffet. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it seemed rather empty. It's better to eat outside the hotel; the seafood restaurant across the street is particularly delicious, with great taste and reasonable prices. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place. Renting a car would be more convenient, as it's quite far from the hotel. I would definitely bring friends here again next time. ✌️

The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super soft – I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast spread was substantial, and the egg tarts were delicious. They also had sweet potato and corn balls, and the buffet was fully stocked. Both the lobby and outdoor areas were spotless, giving off a strong island holiday vibe. It's been raining in Lingshui these past few days, so the weather has been cool and refreshing, and the air quality is genuinely good.

Guest UserFinally made it to the legendary Aloha Hotel, touted as Lingshui's ultimate family-friendly accommodation, and it certainly lives up to its reputation. The oceanfront room offered breathtaking, pristine sea views with the sun glistening on the water – photos truly don't do it justice. The room itself was well-equipped, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept so well I felt completely refreshed. My little one didn't want to leave the bathtub, so I joined in for a bit too, enjoying the sea breeze – it was truly relaxing. We initially planned to stay just one night before moving on, but we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for two more days. We'll definitely be back to this hotel on our next visit to Lingshui.

Guest UserThe hotel is right on the beach, perfect for surfing. We booked a full sea view suite, which was fantastic. We watched the sunrise directly from our room in the morning. There was also a wonderful staff member who proactively asked if we needed a baby chair, baby cutlery, and so on. They frequently came to help us clear and change plates. I ate so much fish, especially the one cooked with vinegar and fermented lees – it was incredibly delicious! We stayed for 2 days this time, and the experience was excellent. I will definitely come back.

This is a great hotel. Our sea-view room offered stunning ocean views right from the window. The breakfast was decent. The large bed room is perfect for a family with two adults and one child. It's incredibly convenient to take the kids to the beach for swimming and digging in the sand, as it's practically right there. Guest UserI specifically booked the Seaview Resort for snorkeling, but the room facilities were truly subpar. The 'snorkeling' just meant they provided some equipment; the instructor simply handed over a life vest and a mask and then paddled away, without explaining any safety precautions or guiding us. It was completely self-service. The mask was so blurry that I couldn't see anything underwater. I had to lift my head out of the water just to catch a glimpse of a few small fish, and the variety of fish was very limited. There were some manta rays, but not many. Overall, the experience was mediocre. However, I would still recommend staying on the island for one night. You could choose a different room type. In the evening, after the day-trippers leave, the island loses its hustle and bustle, and the island bathed in morning light is truly beautiful.

1️⃣ The hotel upgraded us to a room with a view for free. 2️⃣ The newly renovated environment and facilities are very good. The bedding is clean and there is a refrigerator. 3️⃣ The staff sent us to the high-speed rail station. 4️⃣ The food was good and they gave us free fruit. 5️⃣ It's less than ten minutes' walk to the deserted beach. I believe the facilities will get better and better in the future. I look forward to staying here again next time (very suitable for elderly people to live in. The infrastructure is very good, the toilet has handrails and a shower bench. The staff are super patient and enthusiastic! !
