"The sea view was absolutely stunning, and my kids loved it! Head up to the 7th floor rooftop for an even more amazing sunrise and sunset experience. The front desk service was excellent too; they were very prompt with printing and opening doors for us. It's a testament to their popularity that there's a constant stream of guests at the front desk, even at this time of year. The surrounding area, a Tanka fishing village, has a relaxed, down-to-earth vibe that we really enjoyed. In the evening, we could stroll along the boardwalk on the opposite beach and even saw some 'catch-the-sea' aunties (women foraging for seafood). The only minor drawback was that the cleanliness could have been a little better."

"After exiting the high-speed rail station, someone from the guesthouse was already there to pick us up. The next day, someone drove us to Fenjiezhou Island. When we wanted to visit nearby beaches, they lent us electric scooters for free, and cruising around was super enjoyable! The young ladies and the drivers were all very enthusiastic. In the evening, they brought us some fruit, and breakfast was provided in the morning. On top of all that, the accommodation price was really affordable – excellent value for money! Five-star rating! The picture shows the coconuts in the yard; there were so many hanging there."

CChayuwuxushuiduyinAlthough it's an older hotel in Lingshui, the service and vacation atmosphere are still top-notch. The hotel strictly controls guest traffic, only allowing registered guests inside, making it very private and orderly. Even during peak season, it never feels crowded.
Rooms: The rooms are incredibly spacious, starting from 80sqm, with elegant and grand Southeast Asian tropical decor. The standard pool room offers a great location, fantastic views, and plenty of fun. Double vanities, Dyson hairdryers, and coffee machines truly elevate the quality.
Beach: The hotel's private beach is just a few minutes' walk away. It's wide, flat, and features a beach buffet available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The white sand is fine and soft, making it child-friendly. There's also the famous lighthouse and a seaside chapel, perfect for photos and creating a wonderful ambiance. It's an excellent spot to watch the sunset.
Breakfast: The buffet breakfast at Disha Village Restaurant offers a rich variety, balancing both Chinese and Western options. You can also order à la carte. They have signature lobster wontons, local Hainan noodles, smoked salmon, seafood congee, freshly squeezed juices, desserts, and a noodle station. Open until 11 am, it's perfect for a relaxed brunch after sleeping in. The food pickup is well-organized.
Butler Service: Raffles' signature butler service truly lives up to its reputation. My family and I experienced warm and personalized butler service, not just generic WeChat group messages. Since we were celebrating an anniversary, our butler, Chloe, arranged a full set of ceremonial touches and a hand-drawn card. Throughout our three-day stay, she provided thoughtful updates on weather changes and hotel activities.
Overall, the hotel service is gentle and courteous, especially the excellent service. It's particularly suitable for family vacations, offering a quiet and orderly environment. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserI traveled with my best friend and stayed at the hotel for two days, so I wanted to write a proper review. We didn't do any research before choosing Xiangshui Bay; we just picked this hotel when we saw it. We drove there ourselves, which was convenient. The hotel is about 700-800 meters from the street, located in a villa area. The butler had informed us of our license plate number beforehand, as other cars aren't allowed in this area. Upon entering the villa area, I was struck by how large it was, but it felt a bit deserted. The check-in area wasn't what I expected. Having stayed at Raffles Hotel before, I assumed it would be similar, but there were only two young men there to greet us. However, I must say that the two men who greeted us were incredibly patient, and they should have upgraded my room for free—it was a whopping 500 square meters! After check-in, the butler took us to our room, and wow, it was huge! It took several minutes to get there in the sightseeing vehicle. Now, let's talk about the hotel itself. For this price, the room was excellent value. While the hotel facilities weren't particularly new, they were comprehensive and very comfortable. We had such a pleasant stay that we didn't want to leave. The butler was always available, which was wonderful. The hotel's public areas were a bit messy, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but the overall scenery was nice. I wasn't very satisfied with the food; breakfast wasn't a buffet. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it seemed rather empty. It's better to eat outside the hotel; the seafood restaurant across the street is particularly delicious, with great taste and reasonable prices. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place. Renting a car would be more convenient, as it's quite far from the hotel. I would definitely bring friends here again next time. ✌️

WWomenshixingfudexiaoliangkouOur summer vacation in Hainan has come to an end. Honestly, if I were to rate this stay purely on the hotel's overall operational standards, I'd have to give it a 'fail'. However, seeing the satisfied smiles on my family's faces, I feel the trip wasn't a total loss. As a returning guest, I'm writing this review because I care deeply about this place, and that's why I'm being so critical.
Let's start with the warm highlights. The Chinese restaurant maintained its high standards, offering both delicious dishes and reassuring service. Special thanks to Chef He and Sister Sue; they weren't just professional but also provided truly warm service. Catching up with them is always pleasant and fun. Luna, the cultural tourism officer, was incredibly hardworking, diligent, and had an excellent attitude, consistently providing warm and thoughtful service during our stay. And the housekeeping auntie in our room, who silently guarded our private space with remarkable efficiency and impeccable cleanliness. It's these shining individuals who truly embody the meaning of 'Welcome Home' (Jia, the hotel's name).
However, the shortcomings exposed during this stay were equally glaring, even somewhat disappointing. Firstly, the concierge service: sometimes staff were too busy chatting to offer timely assistance to ladies and children. There were communication issues at the front desk; the duty manager seemed unable to identify problems and lacked proactivity and professionalism. The breakfast restaurant's overall efficiency was low, and staff seemed to have a 'going through the motions' attitude. Compared to before, they were less enthusiastic about recommending specialty drinks, etc. I'd suggest they take a leaf out of the Edition's restaurant book when it comes to work efficiency.
Furthermore, the kids' summer camp organized by the recreation department was a mess in terms of reservations and procedures, completely disregarding the genuine needs of children who wished to participate multiple times. The Thai restaurant's taste was significantly worse than before, with awkward, unauthentic modifications and sour, astringent dessert toppings. The safety hazard of engineering staff driving electric carts without 'giving way to pedestrians' was truly alarming. And when the lounge's live music was quietly canceled, that signature Capella evening ambiance also faded considerably.
Capella Hainan once planted so many beautiful memories in our hearts, which is why we're so bothered by these flaws now. We're willing to lay out these issues because deep down, we still have hope for this place. We sincerely hope the hotel addresses these pain points and doesn't continue to 'lie flat'. We look forward to seeing your progress and a refreshed, more confident Capella Hainan during our next reunion.

GGuest UserFinally made it to the legendary Aloha Hotel, touted as Lingshui's ultimate family-friendly accommodation, and it certainly lives up to its reputation. The oceanfront room offered breathtaking, pristine sea views with the sun glistening on the water – photos truly don't do it justice. The room itself was well-equipped, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable; I slept so well I felt completely refreshed. My little one didn't want to leave the bathtub, so I joined in for a bit too, enjoying the sea breeze – it was truly relaxing. We initially planned to stay just one night before moving on, but we spontaneously decided to extend our stay for two more days. We'll definitely be back to this hotel on our next visit to Lingshui.

Service: The only drawback is that I arrived at the hotel around 21:00 in the evening, there was no one at the door, and the parking space was full. I didn’t know where to park. However, this shortcoming was compensated by the excellent service of a staff member named Xiaogang. I hope you will continue to work hard to make Wulan better.

GGuest UserOkay, I think this hotel is absolutely fantastic. First off, it's in Xiangshui Bay, and compared to the prices in Qingshui Bay, you can get a much better deal here. Plus, since there are fewer people, the hotel essentially has its own private beach. While the sand might not be as fine as Qingshui Bay's, it's still really good overall. And from the balcony of the sea-view rooms, you get a breathtaking vista of the clear blue sea with gentle waves, which is incredibly refreshing.
The front desk staff was also incredibly enthusiastic. The lady at the front desk even proactively added me on WeChat, so I could just message her directly with any requests. The hotel's facilities are quite impressive, I'd say they're at least four-star quality, almost five-star.
Initially, my room didn't include breakfast, but the staff member kindly arranged for me to have two days of complimentary breakfast, which was also quite good. They also have a billiards room, a gym, and a swimming pool. The main building houses various types of rooms, and surrounding it are different villas. Honestly, I feel like staying in a sea-view room offers better value for money than a villa.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance!

GGuest UserI stayed in Lingshui, Hainan for five days and have been at this hotel the whole time. Parking is super convenient – no need to scan a QR code every time I leave. On the last day, I spontaneously added another night, and the front desk lady upgraded our room, which had an amazing view. The staff were all great; hotel personnel even delivered our takeout. We brought our baby, and it was very quiet. The hotel cleaning staff tidied our room beautifully every day. Our room was very close to the sea and had no strange smells. When we checked out, a gentleman in the lobby noticed I hadn't eaten yet. He specifically called the restaurant to confirm they were still serving and asked if we wanted to eat before leaving, which was incredibly thoughtful ☺️. The room views are fantastic, the beach is spotless, and the pool is very well maintained with no debris.

The swimming pool is a bit small and shallow, only suitable for children. The hotel is very close to the beach and it is very convenient to go to the beach. However, if you have high requirements for the beach and sea color directly connected to the hotel, please consider it carefully. It is very convenient to take a taxi to Fenjiezhou Island, which is only a dozen minutes' drive away. The price is really super suitable, which is why I chose this place this time. In general, it is very cost-effective.

Cleanliness: It was quite clean, with daily housekeeping.
Environment: The sea around the island was generally clean, and you could see a 'glass sea'. I want to specifically mention the direct ocean access from the balcony, which was a key factor in choosing this room type. The water level here is quite high in the mornings and evenings, generally over 2 meters deep. The tide recedes from morning to afternoon, especially from 12 PM to 6 PM, when the water level is shallower. After going into the sea, there's a complimentary 'Elf Village' snorkeling experience. Personally, I felt there were some floating objects in the water, which staff said were coral secretions. From the balcony, you could see manta rays and schools of fish. Picture 1 shows what you can capture from the balcony, and Picture 2 shows feeding the manta rays.
Service: Not enough water was provided in the room, just two bottles a day, replenished daily. Although the front desk gave us a few small bottles when we asked for more, they suggested we buy our own at the supermarket.

CCarlosThis hotel is peacefully located inside a residential area as an independent building, so it is far enough from the traffic and noise of the main road. The area has many amenities such as swimming pool, basketball courts, and it is a short walk to Perfume Bay. The bed is comfortable. The balcony is large and the upper floor rooms have a nice sea view up to Wanning coast and Fenjiezhou, it is beautiful at night. There is free buffet for breakfast, any many restaurants and shops in the road outside. Staff is helpful, and they let me charge my bike for free.
