The hostess was kind, fun and helpful, organising day trips for us and even taking the initiative to order a super cute birthday cake for our daughter’s 13th. We loved swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and eating at the restaurant, where the lovely cook made delicious food for us morning and night. We especially recommend the fish and the eggplant and green bean stirfry. On our last day the hostess organised a driver to take us to the airport via local attractions and the amazing Zhenggou temple - a great finish to our time in China Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return someday!

It turns out, with the hot springs downstairs, we didn't even use the tub. There was a surprise! Our room was on the second floor, and fireworks were being set off right below us, the kind that launch high and explode with a loud bang. They were incredibly close to our balcony, practically exploding right in front of it. I closed the balcony glass door, worried a stray firework might come in, but the fireworks display was beautiful to watch, albeit a bit dangerous... 😓 They kept going until well past 11:30 PM, constantly exploding. If you're timid or sensitive to noise, it would have been quite a fright. Worth a second visit.

There are many food nearby, and the location is quite close to the town center. The whole town is farm food. It is about half an hour to one hour drive from Nankunshan Park. Because of the rain, I couldn't visit it. But I didn't expect that there are many homestays and villages on the mountain, and it is still very popular near the tourist center on the mountain!
