I thought I could have a good sleep, but in the middle of the night around 2:30 am, four of them even walked to the underground lobby to talk loudly, as if no one else was around, but the sound waves in the quiet room also spread far, even I was faintly heard in the room. Strangely, no management staff came out. This is a huge failure in management. It is estimated that the group stayed for two nights, as they had not left at around 3pm the next day. From their car, we learned that they were from Guangzhou, Zhanjiang, Zhongshan and other places, and they also spoke Cantonese. I don’t know if they know how to write the word “ugly”, have very low quality, and harass other residents by treating public places as their own private spaces. I hope the hotel management can face up to this problem. For this reason, I don't intend to recommend it to my friends either.

For someone like me who visits Nankun Mountain almost every year, this guesthouse is truly a hidden gem! We visited Yunyue Mountain when it first opened (back then we stayed at other guesthouses), and even then, its Baroque decor stood out among the many wooden cabins and hotels. This time, we felt it was excellent value for money! Plus, the guesthouse has a communal hot tub and an infinity pool, perfect for relaxation! And you can even have a barbecue! (Just between you and me, it's the off-season now, but they were the only place fully booked on weekends, which shows how good their reputation is 😉)

We had a joyful and relaxing stay at Nankunshan Zaiyundan Wenquan Homestay the past two days. We stayed in the topmost space capsule, which was spacious and luxurious with an amazing view over the hotel and down into the mountain valleys. The hostess was kind, fun and helpful, organising day trips for us and even taking the initiative to order a super cute birthday cake for our daughter’s 13th. We loved swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub and eating at the restaurant, where the lovely cook made delicious food for us morning and night. We especially recommend the fish and the eggplant and green bean stirfry. On our last day the hostess organised a driver to take us to the airport via local attractions and the amazing Zhenggou temple - a great finish to our time in China Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return someday!
