This was such a cute hotel. Don’t be deceived by the outside…looks like an apt building, or bldg not being used. There is the name on the outside of the bldg, so we called and were led the way. Mario was delightful. Room was good, reasonable, clean, and breakfast was very nice. They served you, instead of a buffet.

Beautiful, quaint 3rd floor hotel in the heart of Rome. Within 20 minutes walking distance to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, Termini station. Wonderful people, great place.

Starting with an easy and friendly check in, we were brought to a small suite overlooking the private piazza. The room was remarkably quiet and felt like a safe haven where we could recuperate after a day of trying to see as much as we could of Rome's treasures. The owners and staff are truly dedicated to their guests' comfort and to their overall experience of the city they all clearly love deeply. Breakfast service was efficient and generous, with espresso made to order, a selection of juices, fruits, breads, pastries, sandwiches, and yogurt all brought to our table with a smile. Highly recommended for those who value an authentic experience of Rome and a caring reception.

The Hotel is the 3rd floor of a beautiful old building with a church on the main floor and ecclesiastical offices on the 1st and 2nd. The rooms are old and comfortable while the bathrooms are modern. The location is superb. All the major sites are within walking distance. The railroad station is a 10 minute walk. They feature helpful 24 hour concierge service and serve a nice breakfast selection at your table, no buffets here. You get a real key to your room, not the usual card. You hand it to the concierge when you go out, and retrieve it on returning, giving you a chance to interact with the staff. Maurizio is a delight. And bonus, the owners are often in attendance. When is the last time you met Mr Hilton at one of his hotels? Highly recommended.

The guy who checked us in was amazing! He gave us immediately the map and where to go. For those who are looking for this hotel, you have to find the elevator as the reception is at the third floor. Just happy that someone immediately pointed us where to go.

The 4 staff members at Hotel Oceania were so helpful to us. They gave us suggestions and recommendations for our travel and excursions. They paid attention to details and provided accommodations to our activity schedule. We are so thankful to the lady manager, Mario, Maurizio and the other gentleman that provided an enjoyable stay at Hotel Oceania & excursions around Rome’s region!

Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff! This place is so centrally located and in a safe neighborhood. We could walk to everything, the breakfast was great (including a real espresso machine!), and the rooms are large and comfortable. This is my second time staying here and will stay again next time we are in Rome!
