Our overall experience at this hotel is good. As others have suggested, its mostly Spanish guests, which is to be expected as the resort is in Spain, for me this isn't a problem however the entertainment is heavily geared towards the Spanish guests, even the kids club isn't very welcoming to English children as all the dialogue is in Spanish. The food at this hotel is fine, there is a good selection of meat and fish at lunch and evening meal and there's always a great salad bar, pasta, selection of potatoes and vegetables. It may not be piping hot all the time but it's generally well cooked and tasty. At breakfast there is a good hot choice including bacon, sausage, various eggs, beans etc as well as croissant, cold meats, cheese, bread, fruit etc. The breakfast cereals are quite poor. Only a few days there are cornflakes on offer, they are not the best quality but ok. The other cereals were not good, the rice crispies were like rock hard pebbles, the cereals need to be improved, quite a basic thing that was poor. The evening meal doesn't start until around 8pm which is quite late for guests with young children. However at this time there are plenty of tables but if you leave it until later you can be faced with a long queue to get a table. This wasn't much of an issue for us as we ate early but the restaurant gets extremely busy and overcrowded so later on its not a great atmosphere. There is a strange token system for drinks during the day, you are given tokens at check in to exchange for plastic glasses, each time you want a drink you have to go to the bar with your tokens or return your glasses for a drink. It seems that this is to cut down on waste or maybe staff as there is no need for staff to collect glasses. The only problem is that at times the queue to get drinks is long. You can also get basic snacks at the main pool bar such as crisps, popcorn and sweets. The snack meals are at the other pool area where there are burgers, chips, hot dogs, cold meat and cheese and some fruit. The pool areas are great for all ages, the kids pool with slides is good for the little ones and both of the big pools are nice. In August the pools were lovely and warm, all good here. I can't say anything about the standard rooms as we had a junior suite which was an excellent size. The main bedroom had two single beds together that created a huge bed, there's is a TV in the main bedroom and small wardrobe, but not many coat hangers. There is a second bedroom in a the junior suite with a double bed and small wardrobe but no TV, we also had a cot in there and it was still spacious. There is more wardrobe space near the entrance to the room with a safe, the safe costs €4 per day which I think is a bit excessise in terms of cost, other 4 star hotels provide this free of charge. There is a good size living space with sofa and bigger TV and a kitchen area with microwave, fridge freezer and kettle, we had to request the kettle. There's no crockery or c

We booked our stay just a few days before arriving - myself, my husband, and our 13 year old twin boys. We arrived at the hotel around 9am, only to be informed that our room wouldn't be ready until 2pm and our all inclusive package wouldn't start until we had our room. This was disappointing, especially as we were scheduled to leave at 7am on our departure day. We left our suitcases in a locked room and headed to the pool area. Fortunately, I had packed the boys swim shorts and towels in their hand luggage, so they were able to jump straight in the pool. To pass time, we decided to head to the beach, but we couldn't access it as a room key was required. We finally received our room key just before 2pm. Our holiday wasn't off to the best start! The room itself was very clean and spacious enough for the for of us, with a limited pool view since we were towards the end of the block. The air con was good and the beds were comfortable. The shower was nice too. The hotel is predominantly Spanish (95% of the guests) Some of the entertainment team could speak little English, others none at all, and two of them spoke English well. The entertainment team were good, but you had to approach them to participate - they wouldn't invite you to join in. The evening entertainment was entirely Spanish. I thought the shows were good, particularly ”The Lion King” however my husband and sons didn't rate the evening entertainment highly. They did enjoy the daytime games once they included themselves and were able to join in. The majority of the staff spoke little English, making communication difficult. The all inclusive wasn't clearly explained; we had to figure it out on our own. The food in the restaurant was excellent - probably the best I've experienced at an all-inclusive. There was a good variety without being overwhelming. I'm vegetarian, my husband and sons are not, and we all enjoyed the food without any upset stomachs. There were plenty of salads, pasta, meats and fish. Special mention goes to one of the waiters, Alonso, who was fantastic with the boys and made us feel very welcome in the restaurant throughout our stay. The drink selection was also very good, branded spirits, bottled beers, nice wine in restaurant and slushies. The hotel was extremely clean - the staff work hard to ensure rooms, pool area, toilets and bars are kept very clean. There were no wasps, which I found a huge bonus. No trouble finding sunbeds, got them in our preferred spot everyday. The hotel could do with some TLC; there were a few broken tiles in and around the pool area. However the pool is amazing - perfect temperature, very large and deep, with relaxing water features. We had the pool to ourselves between 2-4pm as all the Spanish guests disappeared during that time. My husband was very disappointed to learn the beach bar/restaurant wasn't included in the all-Inclusive package. He loves spending time at the beach and chose this holiday specifically for that reason, as it

Been using this hotel for 25+ years, now go twice a year. Very Spanish, 90% occupancy from Spain, so if you don’t like noisy chaotic people don’t go. If you like traditional and authentic Spanish hospitality, food and friendliness then this is place for you. Clean, good facilities, beach front location, very good local bars. Tapas bars and restaurants, just enough shops. Miles of flat promenade to enjoy long walks. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming, not my cup of tea but lots and lots of activities for children and adults.

Avoid if you are not multi cultural, going out of this hotel for anything is like being in a zombie apocalypse where nobody likes you or speaks English... In house is better but you are outcast by rude bar staff and Spanish entertainment all day. Entertainers do try but find comfort in there own and move on quickly. We were all inclusive (so we thought) 11am til 11pm is not all inclusive in my book, not being able to even get a coffee or cold drink before 11 is unacceptable, never experienced that all inclusive ever and Jet2 do not make this clear when booking. No drinks machines to even buy anything either, get some bottles of water and keep in fridge is my tip Bar Staff are rude and the quing is horrendous, with only 2 staff working i felt it a stalling tactic. Every drink have 4 large pieces of ice, another money saving tip from management? Ask for no ice and they look you up and down... Won't serve drinks in big containers, only small so you end up having 2 which leads to extra litter and over run bins around the pool. Why you can't vend cold drinks yourself would cure the waiting times... this is only available in the restaurant and not poolside, why? Main pool is dirty, maintenance spotted jet washing into pool and I didn't see anyone testing the very murky water prior to opening which is possibly why my family had a serious sickness bug which was very unpleasant and so did many guests we spoke to when leaving. Ive rated this hotel at 3 star as i feel 4 star this is not Dated in places although eating area is newly refurbished and our room to, beds were comfy TBF I would recommend upgrading room as the standard does not keep children in a separate room and therefore everyone is together in the room, 2 children sharing a double bed. Air con is very poor and integrated (not a spearate unit you can control) so you can't control it at all. Keep door shut, curtains closed and lights off all day is the best solution to keeping room cold, this needs doing all day and whilst sleeping - very uncomfortable Food OK, not much variety at tea time. Breakfast was best 👌 Be careful with the dodgy Spanish man in the arcade who likes to refuse prizes to your children as ”they have won enough” bearing in mind we probably spent 50 euro a day in there. When confronted... the kids got their prizes - very dodgy Slides were good, the beach and sea I wished we would have gone on more what put me off was you had to pay extra for sun beds (5 euro each), the breeze was nicer on the beach, the poolside was like an oven and uncomfortable at times, extra sun umbrellas 16 euro to buy and they are needed as little shaded areas. 30+ degrees everyday, another money spinner for the hotel. If managed better this hotel could be so much better, maybe its the Spanish way? I won't be returning Cheap and Cheerful holiday all in all, you get what you pay for I guess. Wasn't bad but wasn't great
