My 2 friends and I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Oak Park. We wanted a suite with a living area with a sofa bed separate from the bed room. Unfortunately when I pulled out the sofa bed for the first night, I realized the mattress wasn't very comfortable. We were tired and I decided to deal with it. I received a text Saturday morning inquiring about our stay. I texted back that the mattress was not very comfortable on the sofa bed and asked if it could be replaced. I quickly received a text back that said unfortunately they didn't have any new mattresses, but would bring me a second mattress to put on top of the first one. That made the bed much more comfortable the 2nd night. While this hotel needs new sofa bed mattresses, they responded to me quickly and honestly and did what they could to improve the situation. The price we paid for 3 people for 2 nights was very reasonable. There was a hot breakfast both mornings that met our needs. We had dinner on Friday night at the attached Uno Pizzeria. The food was very good and the waiter couldn't have been nicer. We had enough food left over for dinner Saturday night after a late lunch. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. All of us were pleased with our accommodations and would return.

We stayed one night at this hotel, because Hurricane Ian extended our trip to Chicago. We couldn't extend our rental car and needed a location near the airport with a shuttle. This place not only fit the bill for convenience but it was quite nice. The hotel is very nice and stylish with an open airy feeling. The rooms are rimmed around and open atrium that houses seating and a restaurant/bar. The suites are a little dated but very nice and very large with a separate living area, bedroom and a bath separating the two. This suite could easily be shared and it is also nice for business people because the bedroom door can be closed. Titanium members have a nice lounge with hot breakfast from 6-9 weekdays, a little later on weekends, snacks, water, sodas, coffee, tea, etc all day and appetizers from 5:30-7:30pm. The night we were there they had chicken wings, pizza and a couple of other goodies. The attendant is very efficient and we were extremely grateful for her asking someone to take their phone conversation off speakerphone. Last but not least, Rey, the shuttle driver arrives every 1/2 hour on the 1/2 hour to take you to the airport. Very nice man and quite prompt. Tip - you can also take the shuttle to the metra station at O'hare for transportation to other areas.

It is very close to the airport, a little more than walking distance, and it costs 30 dollars for Uber to come here in the early morning. The hotel is equipped with a special car to send you to the airport, at midnight on the hour, and during the day when it is busy, it is basically half an hour.
Sleeping conditions are good.
Pay attention to the shower head to the bottom, which is basically a 360-degree opening range.

In terms of location, the airport shuttle bus only runs every 30 minutes, so reservations are required. Poor service. I like the room to be warmer (about 25 degrees). When I arrived in the room, the heating was normal, but the front desk suddenly locked the heating function. I called the front desk to ask for help, but was ignored. I went to the front desk and asked again. He actually said that I was too warm. . I paid to stay here because I want to rest in a comfortable temperature and environment. Whether it's too warm or too cold is different for everyone, and it's not just you at the front desk who has the final say. The front desk said they would help me adjust the temperature to the desired temperature, but they didn't adjust it all night. It was cold all night, but I was too tired to complain. It was useless anyway. Room soundproofing is poor. If it weren't for the relatively low price, I wouldn't consider this place.

I have to admit, it has been a few years since I stayed at this property. I mainly picked this hotel, as we were between trips and I needed a hotel with coin laundry. First impressions didn't go well. The trainee checking us in was surly, sulky and downright miserable. When I politely asked if there was any possibility of an upgrade, without even looking at her screen, she grunted NO. I then asked if we could get a room on the ground floor, as we had quite a bit of luggage. She then argued that we could get our luggage into an elevator, but she finally relented. It would have been nice if she had told us that we could have easily reached our room if we walked out the door and went around the back, rather than struggling our way through the lobby and pool area. The room was fine, although the bed was rather small, and I had to go back to reception for extra towels. Luckily, Miss Sulky boots had left for the night, and a very nice, older night manager was on duty. I did reveal our check-in experience to him and he was appalled. Breakfast was okay, but it was so much better pre-Covid with more choices. And sadly, the nightly reception has been ”enhanced” away. The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants, a Target, etc. But remember to bring your ID, especially if there is an event at the arena. The coin laundry was very cheap and it even takes credit cards. Machines worked well. The shuttle back to the airport was fine.

I traveled to Elmhurst on business and stayed in this hotel. It is an older hotel but cozy enough. The hotel was clean and the staff very professional and friendly. I really appreciate the attention to detail in my room. I actually met the housekeeper, Anthony. He was cleaning my room when I came back to the hotel to get some things I needed later in the afternoon. I really appreciate the attention to details in the cleanliness of my room he provided and was very friendly and professional. He had a vibrant and positive demeanor. I travel quite a bit on business and occasionally meet the housekeeping staff and it is rare to meet someone that takes pride in their work and can exhibit through their personality. He is an asset to your hotel. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting Elmhurst.

This hotel is located where I needed it to be for this cost. Near work and not far from restaurants and shopping. Service was average nothing special, clerk checking in was friendly enough and the one in the morning was a bit more charming which created a balance. Room was somewhat clean, although there were what appeared to be a few food crumbs on the carpet in one section of the floor of the room, but I feel like that was more likely than not outside of the normal for this establishment. Overall it was a nice place.

GGuest UserThis is a fairly typical Hampton Inn, but very near O’Hare with shuttle service to / from the airport. Pictures of the front, entrance lobby, eating and bar areas, swimming pool, and fitness center are attached. There are also many restaurants nearby within easy walking distance, we went to Moretti’s across the street that was very good. We had a two queen bed room, #320, that was very nice (picture of bedroom, bathroom, and view out the window are attached). I found the instructions on how to use their “business center” - not really a business center , just a printer with difficult to follow instructions about emailing to get a code, then using a web browser to find the printer too much for me to grasp. So instead I asked one of the lovely young ladies at the front desk for help, Karla Ramirez was a big help and offered to print my boarding passes for me if I emailed them to her. When I came back down about 30 minutes later shw had them waiting for me. That’s the type of customer service this hotel should be rewarding. Thank you Karla!!!

GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews on here. Front desk staff is friendly. The rooms are really nice (although the pillows are not comfortable) and you can not beat the location. You can take the airport shuttle to the hotel (great service) and it's maybe a 10 walk to the Rosemont Blue Line L station which will take you downtown. If you're seeing a show at the Rosemont Theatre it takes you maybe 5 minutes to walk. The breakfast was good (friendly omelet makers and clean up staff) although the evening drinks could be better. Some people complained about noise from atrium which is really only a bother if you are still sleeping when breakfast is served. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel facilities have been recently renovated and everything is spot-on!
The room has absolutely everything you would ever need, good coffee, appliances, nice lightning, super clean bathroom. Reading chair and working desk.
(The only problem is they don't offer water in the room).
Nice swimming pool and gym.
Downsides: They charge parking, and the check-in staff could be kinder. They interacted with me and other foreign guests in a rather bossy way.

GGuest UserMy child's wedding was there. The hotel staff at the event were very helpful and friendly, and we appreciated them. The event itself was lovely and it was set up as we requested. I am giving the ”very good” rating because of that. But, regarding the room we stayed in, we had no hot water in shower for two nights - so we had only cold showers as we dressed for the wedding. Planning was also more difficult than we would have hoped/expected, because the designated caterer for our event (which was a large part of why we had chosen that venue in the first place) changed less than three months before the wedding and we didn't have a menu with pricing until 6 weeks beforehand (the day before invitations had to go out). It isn't clear when the hotel knew about the change, but it never notified us (we learned only when the ”old” caterer told us), and the process led to a lot of last minute stress, and increased costs. Finally, the hotel billed the bride and groom for a room for a night they did not even stay at the hotel; when we questioned that we were told the charges would stand because they hadn't notified the hotel 72 business days in advance (further in advance than the caterer was even set up). In addition, the hotel had agreed to comp us another room but that did not occur because we initially had given the hotel the name of one couple we thought would stay in that comped room - when we learned that couple had not stayed at the hotel overnight, the hotel was unwilling to switch and provide the cost of the comped room to another guest (or even to offset the charges to the bride and groom for the room they did not use, as noted above). We were frustrated by that intransigence.

GGuest UserThis was only an overnight stay to connect us onto our next flight. The hotel is quite dated, old, we were surprised. The hotel wasn’t cheap in cost; but it felt like we were staying in an old motel. I tried to convince myself, “it’s only one night”. We waited over an hour for the shuttle bus to take us to this hotel, less than a 10 minute ride. It was very tiresome and frustrating. The bus is a shared bus with The Marriott hotel. So the front of the bus is labeled Marriott and the side of the bus says Hilton. So we could have missed it by only reading the front of the bus. All in all, I wouldnt recommend this hotel. The shuttle was unreliable. Unlike other Hilton hotels, this hotel did not have a 24 hour free-flow coffee table.

GGuest UserIn my last three stays in this hotel, I have seen nothing but unprofessionalism and even harassment. I have stayed in this hotel many, many times in the past. In recent years, this place has become like a truck-stop. Let me first give you a brief summary of the recent owner’s cost-cutting operations: The hotel provides a soap which is about an inch and so thin that with one hand-wash it disappears. Pretty insane. I had to walk to a Target to buy soap so I could properly clean myself as a human being. The so-called breakfast is a joke to say the least. Even coffee is nothing but brown water now. Even napkins have transformed. Restaurant/bar is also another disaster… Elevators were not working when I was there (for inspection) but there was not a single apology from the hotel. Upon return from Turkey the other night, I also found out that they there was no longer a shuttle pick up from Terminal 5. I had to take a taxi. I am a world traveler and I can list many other cost-cutting details here but let me come to my biggest issue: With my World of Hyatt membership status, I was given a 2:00 pm check-out on February 10. It was about 11:45 am. I was on the phone trying to arrange something urgent for the earthquake victims in Turkey. Someone started to pound on my door (I had “do not disturb” sign on), she was literally screaming! I opened the door… She was still screaming saying that I had to leave. I said to her in the middle of my phone meeting: “I am having an emergency call now and I have a 2:00 pm check-out. I also showed her my sign at the door. After that she left me alone… Before I left for my flight, I shared some of this experience with some workers in the hotel. They said: “She treats us worse. She is the owner…” I have decided not to stay in this place anymore as it has nothing to do with the Hyatt experience. I am also thinking about taking legal action against this property for violating my privacy. I have seen some hotels in China like this but never anywhere else. The name “Hyatt” should not be associated with this family-operated “hotel.”

GGuest UserGood Day, Please allow me to share my feedback from a recent stay at Aloft Chicago O'Hare, 9700 Balmoral Avenue, Rosemont, Illinois, USA, 60018 With the shift in the world for the past 2 years, a great nice clean hotel with friendly team is such a crucial part of our life. And from the moment when I made the reservation, to arrival and check-in, my experience has been nothing but absolutely amazing. The Aloft O’Hare is at a great location with complimentary airport shuttle. I was here for a convention, and it was so easy to walk to the convention building, close by restaurants and outlet malls! Catching the Airport shuttle was super easy and that is where I met ISMAEL. He truly set the tone perfectly. He was so polite and professional, assisted with my one piece of luggage and wished me a great stay. When I entered the lobby to check in, I met the DUO team of VALERIE and JAMINE. They were absolutely superb. It was late in the night when I arrived, like 9:45PM or so. And they both gave me a warm welcome and made sure I had a good room. I have been places where sometime with long shift, your energy bar around 10 PM is almost out. But VALERIE and JAMINE looked like they love their job and were happy to be here. Like I said, with the way the world has job openings at every corner but not enough talent or body for the position, it is great to see such hard working team on Marriott Aloft side. And lastly, I have not met the lovely DAISY but just spoke to her over the phone few mins ago and she was so professional and patient. Of course when I called the hotel, it would be nice of me if I had my confirmation number or last digits of my CC in my hand. But of course rookie mistake on my part. I made poor DAISY jump through hoops to look for my reservation. I can only imagine how busy she may have been. But she as politely and professionally as ever, took time and found my reservation and was able to answer all my questions. I do know that I had seen her name mention on few other reviews. So, I am not surprised of her professional conduct over the phone. On the morning of my check out, I was leaving at 5 am (Yawn!) so I was able to grab few items from the breakfast bar. They were so handy and decent selections. Thank you, management, for having the breakfast corner. In the end, a great location to come back, clean rooms, hot water in the shower and I am so happy that the small bottles of toiletries are being replaced with large wall-mounted dispensers. The soap was absolutely amazing in the bathroom. I had a great amazing stay and will definitely return. Thank you to the entire team!

GGuest UserThe service was good. I had trouble at check in with the credit cards and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only problem was the phone was broken and wouldn't shut up...so I unplugged it and notified the front desk. Check out was simple also and the shuttle to and from the airport was useful. Pick up is at the Terminal 2 shuttle area and you take the team there. If you have a very early flight the shuttle might be an iffy choice. I also ate at the restaurant which was delicious and the service was good.

GGuest UserBack here after a few months, and the level of service standards appear to be lower. Firstly, your status with Hilton is not recognized, and you don't get credit/points for your stay. When I got to the room the bedsheet looked unmade, i.e. it was very wrinkled...as if it had been slept in. While there was no malodorous condition, it did not look made. Changed rooms, and the second bed was just as bad. The front desk staff explained that the sheets were cotton, and that's how they look. Well, it's not my first trip, and I've been around.....I can tell the difference with a bed that's been made, and one that looks like it was just a rush job. Breakfast was so-so, the spread is nothing to shout about, pretty boring stuff actually. Fitness room was adequate, but the treadmills need to be either replaced, or at a minimum, maintained. Some keys on the control panels need to be fixed.

HHarry LBecause, like last year, the Road Bear organization for the camper removal specials was here, yet this hotel was booked again. I would like to stay in a little more modern hotel, but the bus to the factory leaves here and it is very easy. Best spacious rooms (829), but a extra easy chair, as well as a refrigerator and a safe missed. The indoor is from the 1960s, and we hope that the Edward Hotel will be renovated in the coming years, and we had a vision of O'Hare Airport with a lot of noise from departing aircraft.
