"A lovely 4-star hotel in a prime location in Rust Bay, very close to the town center (town hall square). The entire hotel and the rooms were clean, and the staff everywhere were friendly and helpful! We even got seconds at dinner! We had a room on the second floor with a lake view. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which was a real treat in the temperatures around June 28th. The spa area and indoor pool were equally clean and very nice! The lawn by the lake was well-equipped with plenty of sun loungers. Since there were a lot of greylag geese around Lake Neusiedl at that time, as well as on all the meadows and open areas (apparently around 35,000), there was a lot of goose droppings on the grass. Of course, the hotel can't be held responsible for that; it's just nature!"

"We took a step in Rust. The room was wide. There was a large free parking front of the non-proprietary structure. Breakfast with a wide choice of 'salate' and less for 'sweet'. The hotel is 5' walk from the center of the country, on the contrary to reach the lake and the establishments there are 15/20' walk-"

"Good location about ten minutes walk from the train station and just across the street from the historic area. Shops and restaurants all nearby. More like a three star than a four star hotel really. No kettle or fridge, only soap in the bathroom, the worst pillows I’ve ever seen (had to fold up clothes to use), no English language tv stations available. The room and hotel were clean but it has a rundown feel. Unfortunately there are not many hotel options in this small town."

"We spent three wonderful nights at the Seehotel Rust and were absolutely delighted. Our room was spacious, modernly furnished, and spotlessly clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable – we slept wonderfully. All the staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You feel at home from the very first moment. Breakfast left nothing to be desired: from fresh porridge and smoked salmon to a wide selection of yogurts and cheeses, and plenty of fresh fruit – everything was of the highest quality and beautifully presented. The bar also deserves special praise. The bartenders were quick and efficient, whipping up excellent cocktails in no time. For us, it was a truly perfect stay. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back next year!"

"We stayed with my wife and daughter for a few days in August. On the positive side, the residences are new, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped both inside and on the terrace. We also had 4 bicycles at our disposal, which we used every day to get around the property. Another plus is the playgrounds with obstacles for children and the large area to explore. The swimming pools – both indoor and outdoor – were average, nothing special. The adults’ zone with sauna, pond, and jacuzzi was very nice. The biggest downside was the unfriendly staff – there was always some issue, constant remarks, and unnecessary comments. The food in the restaurant was also poor: not very diverse, limited choice, and simply not good. If the management added a bit more friendliness to the staff and improved the gastronomy, this would be a complete place. Fingers crossed, because the resort definitely has potential."
