"Check-in was quick and easy, but the room had a slightly old smell, which I personally didn't like. The biggest problem was the dirty floor; I didn't dare walk around the room barefoot or in slippers. The worst part was the bathroom—I didn't even take pictures—the shower area was covered in mold and looked very old. My husband didn't sleep very well either. However, the location is convenient; it's a 2-minute drive to the beach, and there's a pretty good Greek restaurant nearby."

I booked a cabin at Kanata Caravan Park for February 15-16, and the room's cleanliness was appalling: human and animal hair on the sheets, makeup residue on the pillowcases, sand everywhere on the blankets, and swarms of ants on the bed—completely uninhabitable. We checked out around 11 pm that night and found another Airbnb at our own expense. I've been to Australia five times and have never complained about any accommodation due to hygiene issues; this was the worst and most unbearable experience I've ever had. After contacting the provider, they refused a refund or compensation, and their service was appalling. I strongly advise all travelers to choose carefully and avoid this terrible experience.
