Hotel Alpin Superior
8.2 (18 reviews)

Hotel Alpin Superior ★★★

📍 Mischistrasse 18, Saas Fee

"The rooms were expensive, the bedding was poor quality, and our room was cold. We even had to jury-rig the curtains just to get them to close properly. But the worst part was the incredibly unpleasant manager. We were heading to the spa around 1 PM, dressed in our bathrobes, when we ran into him in the hallway. Without even a greeting, and in a very disagreeable tone, he just blurted out: 'The spa opens at 3 PM!!!!' We truly didn't feel welcome at this hotel. When you're charging 280 (currency implied) for a room, you really need to deliver on quality bedding, proper maintenance, and overall good service. A huge shout-out, however, to the young woman who handled both the shuttle service and housekeeping. She was incredibly cheerful, welcoming, and truly presented the hotel in a positive light—something it desperately needs."

The Capra Saas-Fee
9.4 (70 reviews)

The Capra Saas-Fee ★★★★★

📍 Lomattenstrasse 6, Saas Fee

"We stayed at The Capra over Christmas and couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience. The hotel is beautifully designed — cozy, quiet, and nestled just steps from the slopes, yet it feels like your own private alpine retreat. The spa and pool were perfect for unwinding after ski days, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were incredibly accommodating with our family, even organizing a visit from Santa for the kids. Every detail was thoughtful, warm, and personal. A truly special place we can’t wait to return to."

Hotel Etoile ★★★

📍 Wildistrasse, Saas Fee

"Good hotel, very friendly staff."

Revier Mountain Lodge Saas-Fee
8.0 (61 reviews)

Revier Mountain Lodge Saas-Fee ★★★

📍 Bielmattweg 9, Saas Fee

"Went as part of a ski group. Rooms are very basic and small, the check-in and check-out is contactless, you open the door with your phone. Right next to two gondolas. Staff were absolutely fantastic, the most pleasant group of people I've ever met at a hotel!"

Hotel Bristol
8.9 (56 reviews)

Hotel Bristol ★★★

📍 Dorfstrasse 60, Saas Fee

"As a first time visiting Saas-Fee, the hotel Bristol was an absolutely amazing place to stay. As Aussie tourists visiting Switzerland for the first time Amel, Kadija and all the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. As well as helping us with any questions or requests we may have had. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded treating us to lovely furnished room with a picturesque view of the surrounding mountains. The in-house restaurant provided a beautiful selection for breakfast and offered a fine culinary experience for dinner. Will definitely stay at the hotel Bristol for future return visits."

Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa Relais & Châteaux
8.1 (72 reviews)

Walliserhof Grand-Hotel & Spa Relais & Châteaux ★★★★★

📍 Dorfweg 1, Saas Fee

"Enjoyed a wonderful stay in February half term. Children were made really welcome, colouring at dinner, mini dressing gowns and slippers, little teddies on the bed. We stayed in the Attica suite, was very spacious and really worked with the kids. Afternoon tea, complimentary selection for cakes was great. Dinner in the evening was extremely high standard and really enjoyed the live pianist too. Ski shuttles were always free and very minimal wait. Only improvement would be breakfast buffet was in a small space and could be spread out a bit across the restaurant so felt unnecessarily cramped / crowded. Also not sure why extra charge for certain eggs, given the room rates, normally this is complimentary. Thank you for a fabulous experience."

Boutique Hotel la Gorge
9.2 (18 reviews)

Boutique Hotel la Gorge ★★★

📍 Blomattenweg 2, Saas Fee

"What a wonderful discovery! The hotel is tastefully renovated, the rooms are beautiful, as are the bathrooms. My room had a balcony, was very quiet, and a very comfortable size. The breakfast room (which also serves as a restaurant in the evening) is magnificent with spectacular views of the gorge and the mountains. Everything is done with style. The staff is incredibly attentive. A real pleasure. And as mentioned earlier, the hotel is just 5 minutes from the Alpine Express departure point. The only drawback, but not insurmountable, is that there is no elevator to reach the rooms."

Wellnesshotel Schweizerhof

"Ideal location, spacious and clean family room, exceptional customer service, all employees were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable holiday. We highly recommend the Christiana hotel."

Hotel Alpin Superior ★★★
"The hotel was clean and well-located, with an excellent spa. They only offered half-board, with no other dining facilities available. However, the management was extremely unpleasant. I've honestly never encountered such unfriendliness in over 30 years in the hospitality industry, especially in a ski resort. It was truly bizarre."

Revier Mountain Lodge Saas-Fee ★★★
"The hotel is really nice and cosy. It’s very clean and charming. The breakfast is delicious, the buffet is plenty of choice. It’s just a shame you have to pay for a cappuccino at breakfast. The rooms are attractive and functional. We spent a good time in Revier hotel!"

Hotel Bristol ★★★
"The door to my room did not lock automatically when the door closed but had to be locked manually from the outside with the key card and there was no way to lock it from inside the room: I was told this was a "feature" the hotel used for certain ski groups (but I wasn't in such a group). As a result, I left my room inadvertently unlocked for a whole day. There's no real security for left luggage: anyone can walk into the lounge area and take your bag. The bed was comfortable and the hot water and wifi both worked well. In-room safe was not large enough for a computer. The hotel claims to have air conditioning but there was certainly no air conditioning in my room. Breakfast begins at 8am so the hotel doesn't work well if you need an early start. The hotel did not print my Saastal card until the morning after I checked in which didn't bother me but could be a real (and very expensive) inconvenience to some people although it's not the only hotel in Saas-Fee that does this. The lady who checked me in didn't speak good English although most of the other staff did."

Boutique Hotel la Gorge ★★★
"Our annual ski boys trip to Europe this year was to saas fee, Switzerland, as we had already done all the household name resorts. We found, booked and started a week this month at the relatively unknown Hotel La Gorge, it was simply the most impressive 3* hotel I’ve ever experienced. Completely and beautifully reimagined in recent years, the setting (on a rock face over a gorge) the architecture, the all-custom fittings and furnishings were really jaw-dropping, unexpectedly beautiful. The restaurant was the a total surprise, food, menu, prep, service all way above. Unfortunately that secret is out, and we were only able to book 2 dinners there over the week. Young Michael, who runs the place is tireless, friendly, helpful, as were the rest of the staff including charming Marvin, the front man in the restaurant, and staffers Nicole and others. Welcoming, helpful, all. The suites are beautiful, comfy, quiet. Getting there takes some attention to travel details, but Michael was able to pick us up with luggage at the end of the road into Saas Fee, which has no car traffic. More on the cute friendly town later, but book Hotel La Gorge now, before everyone else discovers it. Except for lack of a spa, it’s a 5* experience for a 3* price. Short walk to the ski lifts, and to dozens of fun little restaurants. These folks know hospitality. They only lack mass marketing. That will find them."

Hotel Christiania Saas-Fee ★★★
"We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The highlight of our visit was definitely the sweet receptionist, who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. However, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. Our room had very old furniture and was quite dusty. To our surprise, we found clumps of dog hair in the room, despite not having a dog ourselves. When we brought these issues to the staff’s attention, they were promptly addressed and the room was cleaned. We appreciated the good view from our room. The location of the hotel was also convenient, making it easy to explore the area. Overall, while the staff was lovely and the breakfast great, I hope the hotel can improve its cleanliness to enhance the overall guest experience."
