Sunbird Livingstonia Beach ★★

"This is a lovely hotel. I was fortunate to stay in one of the chalet rooms for two weeks whilst on business. The room was so comfortable and the facilities are very good. I loved the pool and my room was right on the small beach which was quiet. The service is exemplary, right from check in, the pool staff, waiters, gardeners etc etc as the hotel has a high staff to guest ratio. I couldn't fault the service, they even delivered food one evening whilst I sat on the beach. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I can."

Safari Beach Lodge ★★★

"The lake is very full at the moment so there is no beach and the area next to the lake is dirty, but that is not their fault. Better to check lake levels before booking this place else you will have no beach. Nice location next to the lake, set a bit above the lake. Lovely, well-kept gardens. Chalets are comfortable if you don't mind climbing down steep stairs to the upstairs room. Very nice bar and the view from the bar at sunset is is wonderful. Breakfast was very good. There were no internet on the first day, following morning only intermittent internet at reception. The cellphone signal is also very bad."
