This hotel was built in 1820. It was built by the most famous local architect at that time. It has the flavor of Peace Hotel. If you like the old money style, this hotel is the best choice. The old elevator can still be used. You can see the Notre Dame, the tallest building in South Africa and the Andes Mountains in the distance from the bar and restaurant on the top floor. The sunset and the moon are beautiful. I stayed here for eight days. All the staff knew me and were very friendly to me. The breakfast was also very rich. The bar on the top floor also provided dinner. The hotel is located in the cultural center of Santiago. There are many restaurants, bars and supermarkets around. Basically, famous attractions can be reached by foot. The Notre Dame is near a large catering center opposite the hotel. You can take a cable car up the mountain to see the scenery of the whole city. There is an art market not far from the hotel, selling some interesting gadgets. Opposite the hotel is a huge open park where you can run. On the carriage road built in 1900, the park was built along the road for about two kilometers. At the end of the left hand is the National Gallery.

The hotel is very cozy and the location is very good. It is next to the Plaza de Armas, but the room is a bit small. The waiters are very enthusiastic. There are many squares nearby where you can go shopping and it is very safe.

Excelente atención por parte del personal, quienes no solo tuvieron la gentileza de entregarnos nuestra habitación antes del horario de check-in, sino que además se encargaron de coordinar todos nuestros tours por la ciudad y viñedos, permitiéndonos aprovechar al máximo nuestro tiempo en Santiago. La suite en la que nos hospedamos era realmente luminosa y espaciosa, con un gran armario para guardar nuestra ropa de manera más cómoda. El baño contaba con ducha y también con una tina equipada con sales de baño, ideal para relajarse después de un tour. Definitivamente, volveremos al hotel.

This hotel has potential with its beautiful updates, but it’s clear that maintenance has slipped. Our room was not clean—there were stains on the walls (even a hole in the bathroom wall), mildew in the bathroom corners, and the towels provided were dirty, requiring us to request fresh ones. The shower window had a crack in it. The front desk staff was unwelcoming, and the breakfast was disappointing. By 9:30 AM, the eggs and bacon were nearly gone, with no refills in sight- it was the only hot food. Additionally, the area around the hotel, especially near Bellavista, felt a bit unsafe. While the rooftop and restaurant offered good food and service, we wouldn't stay here again

Really helpful attendants, breakfast was great, bed was very comfortable. If you're looking for a charming place to stay in Santiago, this one has been nicely restored and has a really cool old-style (and functional!) elevator - the kind you have to pull folding doors to open and close! The bed linens were very clean and sanitary.

Luciano K is a lovely hotel very centrally located in the Lastarria district of Santiago. The property is walking distance to the trendy restaurant and shopping areas of Bellavista, Providencia and a short taxi or subway ride to some of the best restaurants of the city in Vitacura and Las Condes. The hotel offers a complementary breakfast every morning with a great selection of meats, cheeses, pastries as well as eggs prepared as you like them. The Luciano has a gorgeous open air rooftop bar/restaurant perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views or watching the sunset. The rooms are clean, quiet and well appointed with amenities including a safe for your valuables. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with everyone speaking a good level of English. I spent 2 weeks at the Luciano and I highly recommend you give them a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed. ❤️

The rooms floor was dirty, one towell was dirty, and the sink was dirty. The staff was very nice and the hotel very safe, it is noisy and there are lots of light coming from the window. So there were pros and cosn. The breakfast was good.

Atendimento muito bom, café da manhã e localização excelentes. Tínhamos um passeio muito cedo e gentilmente nos serviram o café da manhã antes do horário. O hotel é antigo, o rooftop pareceu ser mal cuidado e a limpeza do quarto deixou muito a desejar. Sujeira atrás da cama, na gaveta da mesa de cabeceira e pia do banheiro. O quarto era apertado, com um sofá velho que ficamos em dúvida se era pra colocar a mala (mas não tinha tamanho suficiente) ou pra sentar. Não voltaria, pelo valor da diária eu esperava muito mais.

I loved this hotel. It is located in a retro building with modern rooms, is very clean and had great service/staff. It is located within walking distance of the Lastarria restaurants and is close the metro. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.
