After traveling for so many years, this is the first time I write a review. It’s not that this B&B is ridiculously bad, I just want to give some reference advice to families traveling with children. First of all, the location is very good. It is lively downstairs and opposite to the sea. It is very convenient to visit. This is its characteristic. The living environment is very different from the pictures. There is a balcony overlooking the sea. Due to its age and disrepair, several roots are rotten. We don’t dare to let our children get too close for fear of accidentally causing an accident. In the middle of the night and early in the morning, the sound of doors being retracted upstairs and downstairs, and the sound of crying could be heard very clearly. The bed looks relatively new, but it is very short. It is not comfortable for my little feet to sleep on. I chose this place because it has two bathrooms, which is more convenient for two families to go out. The price was not expensive in Hainan during this period when people were following the crowd. I originally planned to stay one more night, but gave up the idea and moved to the hotel next door.

The hotel is not five stars! We have been living in China for a long time and we always live in hotels. This was the worst hotel out of many. They changed our room four times. The first room had a view of the construction site and, accordingly, there was terrible noise. The second room was terribly dirty (I walked on the floor in white socks and threw them away after that). Plus, this room had blinds instead of a wall to the toilet, which is terribly inconvenient with a child. The third room was clean and renovated, but again looked like a construction site. The fourth room was after renovation, clean and with a good view of the sea. There is a nuance: if you have a sea view, then in the evening get ready for a concert on the embankment. Breakfasts are aimed only at Asian cuisine. The children's area is very small. The pool is not the same as in the photo. The water slides are no longer there and are in need of renovation. There is plenty of food and children's attractions nearby.

Amazing hotel right on beach front close to many restaurants and fun sea going activities. The Italian restaurant on the seafront about 200 metres from hotel has a lovely atmosphere. The hotel buffet is incredible, with lots of seafood and as huge variety of other food.

Great hotel. Across the street from the beach. It's family friendly, and you've got a lot of things for kids. The only thing that is a bit bad is the shape of the hotel. If you take a room with a view it will probably face the pool and the other wing of the hotel, so basically everybody from the other side can see you. So it kinda lacks privacy, but it's great! 🙃 Also, it is a bit noisy sometimes, there is a construction site across the street, but it's really not that bad. Overall, I recommend it primarily to families and everybody else surely won't regret. Needless to say that everything was nice and great. The staff barely speaks English, but they're using the translation app to communicate and they are very helpful.

昨天凌晨到了，因為車的導航出問題了，一直原地打轉，和管家聯繫後，馬上給我們視頻指路。因為孩子一直哭管家小姐還送了可愛的玩具給毛毛。服務真的很貼心。房間也是乾乾淨淨，床品和床墊軟硬適中。給我們推薦了附近好吃的早餐店和一些遊玩攻略。還有最重要一點，景觀景觀，真的是無敵好呀，我們一家人都度過了美好的一晚，雖然衹住一晚，還是覺得應該打個好評。推薦推薦！！

We loved this room, we got the bay side view and having the bathtub on the balcony was just the loveliest. The room was turned down everyday and left spotless for when we got back. The location is nice and close to the marina if you want to take a boat tour. The only thing I would critique is the breakfast in the morning, there wasn’t that many options and it didn’t feel like the best quality, we ended up only going once for breakfast. But overall we really enjoyed the hotel I just wouldn’t recommend getting the breakfast.

From my client: I stayed in the modern part of the hotel on the 13th floor. The view was stunning, the room was huge, and there were many amenities inside. The strangest thing was that the room lacked a refrigerator and kitchen utensils. In December (during my stay), the pool was completely closed, and there was no information about it. In fact, you find out about it not at the reception, but at the pool itself. As an experienced traveler who always moves around on my own, the hotel's location was quite advantageous. There are many small cafes nearby, a long beach, a beautiful wooden promenade, and several public transport stops, which are a 5-15 minute walk away. The hotel has private parking, which is convenient if you have rented a car. What can I say about breakfast? The reception and breakfast restaurant are located in the old part of the hotel. There is little lighting, the decor is old, and there is little aesthetic appeal. The cuisine is Chinese with elements of European food. Tourists who bought package tours and stayed in this part of the hotel had much worse rooms (the rooms were not renovated at all, the carpets were old, the wall paint was not great) than I did, who booked accommodation through this app. I would like to separately mention the work of the staff. The employees only speak Chinese, and they have no desire to assist you if you are a foreigner because they seem shocked and totally confused by you. Upon check-in, they did not provide any additional gifts that were provided by Trip.com when purchasing accommodation. As they say, the law there is one: if you need something, you have to insist on it using a Chinese translator and supporting documents. By the way, upon check-in, you have to leave a deposit, and most importantly, keep the deposit receipt so that you can get it back later.

Well, this hotel was perfect a few years ago. I remember it was even better than nearby 5 star hotels. I was disappointed this time, because it got old. It doesn't feel like that beautiful Barry hotel it used to be. But, still the location is convenient and the price is very pleasant. Only because of its low price I would recommend it. But don't expect anything fancy. I hope that Barry will be renovated in the nearest future.

The service attitude of the B&B is very good. We were traveling as a family, and the housekeeper helped us upgrade our room for free to a sea view room. The view was very good, it was very close to the seaside, there were few people, and the sea water was clean. The room facilities are also very good. We bought our own seafood to cook, and the kitchen utensils, bowls and chopsticks are very complete. Because we had a flight at night, the housekeeper was very considerate and allowed us to check out at two o'clock. It was a very good experience. I will choose this B&B again when I come to Sanya in the future. It is highly praised.
