Great location. Convenient to both the air port and other activities including Disney and the Bund. Front desk reception was exceptional. I was greeted by Cindy and had several interactions with her during my stay. Each time she went out of her way to make sure that I was understood and received what I needed. The room was clean, well appointed and extremely comfortable. This is my new go to hotel when arriving we’re leaving from Pudong Airport.

During the summer vacation, we visited Fengxian for two days and one night, one kilometer away from the museum. Facts have proved that this is a more suitable place for a person with children. You can soak in hot springs, swim, and read books. It is still very relaxing, but the food is too unpalatable. I ate the saury in one bite. It was too fishy. The sukiyaki pot was filled with Chinese cabbage and one mushroom. It was not cost-effective. I saw many people ordering takeout, which I really regretted. As for fruits, the quantity in one pot is too small, and it would be wasteful to pile them up so high. There is an additional charge for the rooftop hot spring and swimming pool, which is RMB 39 per person regardless of size, and a swimming ring can be rented for RMB 40. However, why there are no lights in the hot spring pool at night? The children said it was too scary. The swimming pool only reaches the waist of a 1.5-meter child, indicating the powerlessness of swimming. The final check was 580 for the room and 550 for other expenses. The hygiene needs to be improved. The room is small but acceptable. After all, it is only 580.

The entrance is on Gangdong Highway, the road is not big, be careful not to miss it, the positioning in the housekeeper group is very accurate, and it is easy to find the house number. The villa as a whole is very new, clean and tidy, which is better than the various villas I have lived in before. The housekeeper is very nice, always on call and responsive. The entertainment facilities are rich, and the big friends have a good time. The chef cooked a table of dishes by himself, which was not easy given the limited kitchen conditions. One car can be parked in the garage and three can be parked in front of the villa. Will consider staying next time.

I have been travelled to Shanghai many times before, and stayed in many different 5 star top hotel, somehow, J Hotel is the one and only made me feel home and starting fall in love with Shanghai. The VIEW from 101 is the best of the best to be able to see the WHOLE Shanghai with old and new buildings and history, YUYUAN, the BUND, Peace hotel and more and everything you expect to see. The ARTS and MR LIU HAI’s (刘海先生）art tour actually is the soul of J Hotel. MR LIU, a Shanghai local gentleman, uses the very classic and professional style to bring the guests immersed every piece of art, mainly presented China traditional culture in a fancy and modern visions. J Hotel has me understand more of my mother country, China and first time experienced the old but classic Shanghai GENTLEMAN hospitality, that might be only can see in the movie about 1930s THE SHANGHAI BOUND. I saw every foreigners were so impressed when they see the China art and I am so proud to swing that J Hotel is becoming a new icon of China welcome more and more friends to from all around the world. I highly recommend and I definitely make J Hotel my home in Shanghai. Also I would like to thank you Cindy, the manager of YunJing restaurant, she has given me warm company when I was having dinner on my own. Thank you for her thoughtful gifts. I hope to see her again in my next trip. I had a good stay here and the room was quite nice. The only things I found could've been improved or could be better with my stay we're that there was only one chair on my balcony, only one bathrobe and pair of slippers we're prepared s well. There was also a desert prepared in the room, but it was sour.
