Popular Shangri-La 4-star Hotels

The staffs at counter desk were courteous, polite and well mannered and willing to go the extra mile to help by changing the room for me. Even the hotel cleaners were very courteous and well mannered which i appreciated them very much. This hotel has welcome self service drinks. I arrived too early for checkin and they accept my baggage and placed them behind their counter and gave me a reference tag for my baggage for security reason by so by matching the tag which i feel confident placing my baggage with the hotel.

It's been quite cold in Shangri-La recently, but the room is super warm. The service of the ladies at the front desk is very good and professional. Check-in is also very fast. There is also airport pick-up service, which is really good. You don't have to worry about getting lost anymore. The facilities are really good, the environment is good, and it is clean.

The hotel is very strategically located at one of the most scenic area of NapaSea, and is very clean, well kept. The counter service is great too, they even upgraded our rooms to a bigger, scenic room for free!!! And, they provided free shuttle service from the railway station (or can claim back from them by showing the bill). The room itself, has heating service, oxygen supply, and is super roomy and clean. Exceptional service, beautiful Modern ******* Style hotel and rooms! The moment we walked in to the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the amazing decor of the hotel. The lobby was also very pretty. Every staff always answer our questions sincerely and go the extra mile for every small request we made. They added us on wechat, provided us tips and responded promptly to all our requests during the trip. The room has floor heater and heater in bathroom. They provided hats, sunglasses in the room as the UV in Shangrila is very strong (not to be brought home) but we love it that they provided it for us. Fantastic location, right at the entrance of ancient city. 5 mins walk to 大金筒。 Comfy beds, sofa area with TV. Love it!! Will return for sure!

Shangri-La is very cold at night, and there are radiators and electric blankets in the room ready for sleeping, and quilts + blankets on the bed 4. The towels are disposable, and people with mysophobia can use them with confidence. There are disposable slippers and plastic slippers, and they are fully equipped 5. The store owner has a very good service attitude. The toilet light broke halfway, and he took the initiative to help me change rooms 6. The location is good, a few dozen meters away from the main road, convenient for taxis, and there are many food and drinks around, and you can also eat in the store There is room for improvement: 1. It is very shaking when going up and down the stairs, which is not friendly to friends with heavy luggage 2. This was the nicest hotel during our China trip start of May 2024. The rooms are spacious, the beds have perfect matrasses, Rooms are heated and have a humidifyer as the air is very dry in Shangri-La. The exterior and interior are ******* style. The staff is super friendly and helpfull. Short walking distance from the main square and streets and 3 minutes walk from the street where to take a taxi. Very quiet at night. First choice in Shangri-la when we make it back.

Not worth the price . This is the most expensive hotel I paid for my yunnan trip and this is the worst hotel . I booked 3 standard room but all rooms is different size room 8359 the worst ( except room view is good) the room door cannot close properly i must know how to close the room door properly i don’t think this is a new issue . The hotel didn’t do anything about the door. Bathroom no slipper , no ventilation Room curtain is very dusty

Although Shangri-La is cold in winter, it is very beautiful. The locals are very warm and friendly. It is really happy to chat with the locals about their lives every day. I feel like I am reborn. Living in the Dukezong Ancient Town of Shangri-La, it is very convenient to go out for meals and shopping. There is everything when you go out. Especially at night, it is very lively and everyone is dancing in the square. I am very happy to choose this hotel. The room is very spacious, with a large open-air balcony, and you can also bask in the sun and drink tea. The facilities are complete. It is very considerate to prepare milk and fruit, as well as ginger tea and oxygen. There is no need to worry about hypoxia and sleep disorders. The room is also clean and tidy, giving people a feeling of vacation.

We arrived in Shangri-la late at night. The owner of the hotel told us to go to a certain location so they could go pick us up, we were not charged for this service. They were very kind to us, especially to me since I had a hard time adjusting to the altitude and they told us what to do to alleviate my altitude sickness issues. The rooms are very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. The atmosphere of the place gives you a feeling you’re immersed in the local culture. The view from the top rooms are breathtaking, you can have an overview of the town and the main temple. Just beware that in order to have this view, you need to climb a lot of stairs, and at this altitude, climbing stairs can be a daunting challenge, but totally worthwhile. I highly recommend this place.
