"This is an established, somewhat older hotel (not ancient). It's quite large, and you can still see remnants of its 80s and 90s glory days, like the bowling alley. We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a lovely view. Both dinner and breakfast were delightful. The hotel also has its own hot spring bathhouse, with indoor, outdoor, and garden-style rotenburo options. It's very close to Kashikojima Station, and there's a shuttle bus service available. Nearby, there's a small fishing village and harbor you can explore, and even take a boat ride. This is a great place to relax, unwind, and get closer to nature. Plus, it's easily accessible by direct train from Nagoya and Osaka."

"This beautiful hotel pearched on a clift in Shima with impeccable service is a must stay in Shima. Super friendly staffs who are knowledgeable and are prepared to answer your every question makes our stay at this venue a very memorable one. Restaurant La Mer and the Japanese restaurant never failed to amaze us, even though we only had our breakfast there. The top floor viewing deck is a must to see one of the best sunset in the world. The breathtaking views from your suite is simply worth the price."

"The hotel is very close to Kintetsu Kashikojima Station. The room is quite big. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are not a problem for use. The hotel staff is also responsible. The room also has a large balcony with a beautiful sea view. However, Kashikojima is quite remote. It is still a good choice for people who don't like many tourists. There are few restaurants around. If you check in late, you can't find a place to eat. The only convenience store at the station is only open until 18:00."
