The place was very clean, checking in was very quick and the desk person was amazing. We had breakfast 2 mornings and it was very good, very clean. The evenings we sat out by the beautiful fire pits. Property was very well kept up and very nice.
Ramada by Wyndham Sioux Falls Airport-Waterpark & Event Ctr

Was very inviting. Had a real cool water park inside but didn't use it. Had a good night at Boss Pizza and next morning had a great breakfast there. When checking out I asked the desk to call me a cab. She started to but then asked me where I was going. I told her the airport so she got me a free shuttle to the airport. Only thing I would recommend is that if you give veteran's discounts, you should ask the guest if they were a veteran so they could receive it. I kept forgetting to ask.
Super 8 by Wyndham Sioux Falls/41st Street

My wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving before 3PM to a welcoming receptionist who checked my ID, processed my payment while I filled out a liability paper, then presented the key cards. We took the elevator to the 3rd floor. Room #316 had new carpet, clean with a comfortable king, desk & chair, easy chairs, clothes bar and medium sized refer with micro & coffee machine. Opening window view to the side parking lot. The fully outfitted bathroom had a tub/shower and powerful fan. The medium sized TV had a hotel guide with 52 channels(CNBC, CNN, ESPN, HGTV, MSNBC, networks, etc). Good secure wifi, ample outlets, good lighting and under window AC/heat. The 7AM breakfast was very good: OJ, apples, raisin bran, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, bread and coffees. Overall, we had a quiet night’s sleep and enjoyed our stay.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sioux Falls Southwest
4.3/5100 Reviews
Stayed here October 17 & 18, 2021. We stay at Holiday Inn Express locations a lot and this was the absolute worst we've ever been to. It is no where near the level of other HIE facilities we've stayed at. Property was understaffed, to be sure. Check-in person not exactly helpful. Other (limited) staff seemed quite good, though. 2nd floor Room very dated and not the cleanest. The carpet was separated from the floor in places (see photo). Very low hot water pressure in bathroom (see photo). Did not try the shower. Breakfast was sp**** and hot food consisted of a limited amount of reheated breakfast sandwiches only, and no pancake machine. Coffee seemed to be yesterday's. Most food was gone by 7:30 and not re-stocked. To top it off, the south outdoor entry door mechanism was sticking and did not latch properly. This would allow access to someone without a key-card. Informed the desk clerk and he said that they were aware of this, but the repair part is back-ordered (as many things are these days).
Candlewood Suites Sioux Falls

I have stayed in Sioux Falls many times and typically, I stay at one of the hotels closer to the Empire Mall. This time, I have tried something diffierent. This is probably one of more difficult reviews I have written because there are both goods and bad parts regarding this hotel. I will begin with the good. I found the management and front-desk staff very helpful during my stay. The friendly staff made the stay very enjoyable. Likewise, the modern and clean ground floor was very welcoming. Last good, raised the issue of about the room being cleaned and management immediately addressed it. It is not until you get to your room that some of the issues are noticed. I found the room to be very outdated. The furniture was very worn and old. The carpet looked, as though, it was there since the 80s. For a lack of better description, it had a very cheap Motel 6 feel to it. To add to Motel 6 vibe, the room was only cleaned once during my 2 week stay and it was not cleaned very well. To make it worse, cleaning staff never stopped by, every few days, to see if I need coffee or towels. I raised this issue and it was addressed. From staying there and talking with staff, the hotel is going through an upgrade. This was appearent with the work being done while staying there. Another drawback was the kitchenette. While it had 2 burners there was only 1 frying pan. This made cooking a meal very difficult, like breakfast. Finally, the big drawback for me, is it is not very near anything. While yes, it is near a few restaurants and WalMart. If you do not have a car, the walk is a good 5 - 20 minutes and if it is winter, then it can be a very brutal walk. As for me, would I stay there again? Not sure, I might be willing to try it again once the refurbishing is done. However, it will not be my preferred hotel and the lack of cleaning the rooms has really put me off wanting to say here. Plus, the hotel does not offer breakfast, which with a kitchenette you do not necessarily need. However, the option is nice because if you have a busy day, with one frying pan, then having the option for breakfast take the pressure off of you plus it helps defray the cost of an extended stay. My advice, consider carefully the lack of cleaning of rooms, no breakfast being provided, and the distance from restaurants and shopping against the room rate. It is not the best hotel and it is not the worst. However, the lack of amentiies can be fraying especially if you are staying over a week.
