Hotel President Solin ★★★★★

"I traveled solo, but with the Titan company for a tour. The hotel President, Solin was our final hotel. The hotel itself is very pleasant, with large rooms and elegant features, set in an attractive area. Unfortunately there were several issues. We had to order from the menu for our choices of lunch and dinner the day ahead. On our first day, the staff were aware of our choices, but we waited half an hour to be served and meals were coming out haphazardly, so some people were waiting for food, when others had finished. The staff were friendly enough, but seemed lost about their duties and were vague. It seemed as if they had been recently employed, but without adequate training. One evening, I left my room and encountered a couple who were rather confused. Understandably so, as they had just checked in and been given keys to my room. That is an appalling error. The key to the room also opens the safe and as I only had one key, the room went into darkness when you took it out of the holder inside the door. At any time, it is not possible to see into the wardrobe. If the several issues are addressed, this could be a good holiday destination."

"There were 3 of us in the room, and the space was big enough for us. Each of us had individual bed, and the bathroom was huge. Will stay here again."
