"I'm a young teacher and I've planned a trip for myself and my class. We decided to go to Solothurn. A huge mistake. There was dog food in the cereal, and when I asked the cook about it, he said it was edible. My class and I were shocked. On top of that, one of my students' beds was covered in urine. Absolutely disgusting. I don't recommend it, and I absolutely must avoid it."

"As a native Solothurner, familiar with the history of the former "old hospital", I find it difficult to make a proper assessment. We were received by the staff very nicely and even the discharge was made by e. -mail arrived quickly. In room 201, it would be a defect that the big round carpet made a very unappetited impression; that's not the way. All the other is what's coming from a very old building, which has not been deleted and re-ordered, lets do. For a client exclusively comfort-oriented (which we do not count) it is likely to be short in this respect."

"This hotel is recommended by my colleague as it is just across the train station and is not difficult to locate . From the look outside the hotel , it is very pleasant and homely, this is evident from the moment I was greeted by the staff at reception . The key system is rather unique because you need to exchange your room key for a smaller set of keys that open the main door since reception is attended till 7:00 pm. The room is typical of European which is very small with a single bed if you are staying alone . Well designed and clean room that I have nothing to complain about . Breakfast was simple with limited spread but no complains as this is very typical for such European hotel. Throughout my stay , every things runs good except the very weak internet making work rather challenging ."

"Reception and Lobby stylish and functional renovated and is a good place to read a book, relax or plan the next trip. There is a small, nice garden as well. We appreciated the rich breakfast. The only downside was the lack of blinds in our room. Check for rooms with blinds if you are light sensitive. Overall definitely a hotel we recommend."

"Friendly, welcoming staff. We were 5 friends traveling for pleasure and each room was decorated differently. The antique furniture throughout the hotel and restaurant was amazing! There were clocks everywhere and the view from the rooftop restaurant was exceptional. It was centrally located and made visiting the city of Solothurn very easy.
