It is definitely a good place to stay for five or six days! I feel that it is the most charming residence on Phi Phi Island, with a seaside cabin, close to nature, walking barefoot on the soft and white beach every day, blowing the sea breeze, and directly entering the relaxation and vacation mode. And the hotel is very quiet. In the morning, you can hear the birds singing and slowly get up, and then have a perfect breakfast. In the afternoon, you can take a nap in your room semi-outdoors and sit in a daze. Occasionally, a small family of three monkeys will visit your room, take some fruit and run away. The hotel's dining is the most upscale choice on this island. The cocktails are first-class, and the lamb chops are great! The spa is also lovely. The service level of the entire hotel is first-class and enthusiastic. Several employees, such as Ms. Ping, speak Chinese very well👍, and the general manager Mr. Becker can also speak some Chinese! In short, it is a perfect resort on Phi Phi Island.

James 带你游【In-depth Review】Ananta Burin Resort, Krabi: An Objective Look at Pros and Cons
Having stayed at this hotel for a few days, I'd like to share my genuine experience to help others:
👍 Pros:
* **Excellent for Families:** With both tall and short water slides, an artificial waterfall, and a poolside bar offering ice cream and drinks, it's perfect for families with young children.
* **Great Value for Money:** For its amenities and location in the Ao Nang area, the price is very budget-friendly.
* **Convenient Surroundings:** Just a few steps downstairs, you'll find convenience stores and an entire street lined with Thai, Indian, and seafood restaurants. Both beaches and the night market are within walking distance.
👎 Cons/Things to Note:
* **A Bit Noisy:** Because it caters primarily to families and features water slides, the slide and pool area can be quite lively with children during the day. If you're a honeymooning couple seeking absolute tranquility and a minimalist getaway, you might find it a bit noisy (I recommend using the Quiet Zone pool or booking a room further away from the slides).
* **Beach Proximity:** While the hotel is close to the sea, it's not a beachfront property where you step directly onto the sand. You'll need to cross a street and walk about 5-8 minutes to reach the best beach spots.
**Overall Verdict:** The pros outweigh the cons. This hotel is highly recommended for family trips, groups of friends, or travelers looking for great value. If your main goal is water fun with kids, it's almost unbeatable in its price range.

MannyOthmanGrand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang Beach Resort is an excellent choice for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and easy access to local culture.
The resort is strategically located in the heart of a Muslim-friendly community, making it particularly convenient for Muslim visitors. Numerous halal restaurants and local eateries are within walking distance, offering a wide variety of authentic Thai-Muslim cuisine.
Adding to the convenience, a mosque is located nearby, allowing Muslim guests easy access for daily prayers throughout their stay.
For exploring Ao Nang and the surrounding areas, local transportation such as tuk-tuks is readily available. Fares are generally affordable, ranging from approximately THB100 to THB200 depending on the destination.
Beyond its comfortable accommodation and excellent location, staying at Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang Beach also provides an opportunity to support the local tourism industry and community businesses. Visitors can enjoy genuine Thai hospitality while contributing to the livelihoods of local residents, restaurants, transport operators, and small businesses.
Whether you are visiting Krabi for leisure, photography, family holidays, or cultural exploration, Grand Mercure Krabi Ao Nang Beach offers a convenient and welcoming base for an enjoyable stay.

danceA nice, cozy boutique-style hotel with an overall positive impression.
Breakfast offers a modest selection, but everything is tasty and well-prepared. The on-site restaurant also delivers — the food is genuinely good. A nice bonus is having a Starbucks right on the property.
The main downside is the location: the hotel is somewhat far from the town center and nearest shops, which can be inconvenient if you need to run errands or explore locally.
A pleasant stay overall. A good choice if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable hotel and don’t mind being a bit away from the hustle and bustle.

Hygiene: Very clean.
Facilities: Excellent and fully equipped, the pool has a spiral slide.
Environment: Modern style.
Service: All staff are warm and polite.
This hotel offers fantastic value for money. The pool bar's Happy Hour with two beautiful cocktails for 200 baht is a super deal! The only downside is that it's far from the sea and the pier; everything else is a plus.

Anonymous UserHotel buffet breakfast was good with wide varieties. Their pastries were so good, even had freshly baked croissant hourly. However, the kids club and gym were under maintenance and relocated to ballroom and boutique respectively. Hotel provided free ice cream for kids daily as compensation. The room condition need to be improved whereby the closet door was hard to push and shower head is leaking, two of the lights were not functioning well. Pillows were too soft compared to the sofitel we stayed in bali few years ago. Room cleaning done twice a day were impressive.

Anonymous UserWe had a wonderful stay at this resort and would highly recommend it to families. The resort is very kid-friendly, with plenty of activities and facilities that children can enjoy. The kids' pool was one of the highlights of our trip—it was well-designed, clean, and provided hours of fun for the little ones.
The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived. The team at the check-in counter was warm, professional, and efficient, making the arrival process smooth and welcoming. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful.
The resort itself is very well maintained, with clean facilities, beautiful surroundings, and attention to detail evident throughout the property. The location is also excellent, offering easy access to nearby attractions while still providing a relaxing atmosphere.
Overall, it was a fantastic family getaway, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Guest UserGood, clean, simple hotel with a clean swimming pool. The hotel is located right on the beach and next to a busy shopping street. The rooms are very spacious, clean, but a bit dated. The staff are generally very friendly. A downside was that upon check-out, I was immediately asked about items like an umbrella that my children had used and had to pay for a coffee spoon that was apparently missing from the coffee cup in my room.
