"Food and hospitality good! Time for new beds. Humidity through out the hotel. Had it's own smell to it. Carpet in all areas of hotel. Fastly needs make over already. Carpet bad idea."

"We were exhausted from loading the U-Haul. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30am tired and ready to get a decent night’s sleep. Boy were we wrong. To start, the door didn’t have a room number. The room was awful. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and blankets. There was also dirt on the sheets. The bathtub was disgusting. We slept with our clothes on for fear what might be on the linens. The door wouldn’t lock. Thank goodness I put the hook on the door. When we woke up the door was open about 1/2 inch. To make things better, it was snowing outside. The owners didn’t care at all."

"Upon arrival after a long drive, I was simply looking forward to unpacking, getting some dinner, and settling in for a good night’s rest. Unfortunately, that’s not how the evening unfolded. At check-in, I felt more scrutinized than welcomed. The front desk associate questioned my company’s rate and asked for proof of employment. I provided my business card, including my title and position, but she still needed to confirm it with her manager. His response—an eye roll followed by a reluctant “I guess”—was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I’m unsure what additional proof was expected, but the interaction left a poor first impression. After quickly unpacking and stepping out for dinner, I returned to the room to do a bit of work and get ready for bed. With temperatures in the 90s that day, I turned the air conditioning down to cool the room, as I prefer a cooler environment for sleeping. However, when I woke around 11:00 PM, the room temperature had not changed—it remained at 72 degrees throughout the night. Combined with an uncomfortable mattress, I had a restless night and woke feeling disappointed and unrested. As a frequent traveler and lifetime Marriott Gold member, I’ve come to expect a consistent level of service and comfort. While I generally have positive experiences, this stay was an exception. Regrettably, I will not be returning to this property and will seek alternative accommodations on future visits to Springfield."
