My friend and I bought the dishes for the boss to make. I dare to say that it is 10 times better than the outside. Hahaha, I sincerely suggest that you try the boss’s craftsmanship. After eating, I have been talking to us about life and ideals. During the chat, we also sent us beer. The money for the processing materials also reduced me by 20 yuan. 3. Because we came here in the off-season, the boss upgraded us to the best room. We can see the sunrise from the room early in the morning, which is great. 4. We are a budget travelling family looking for ”good value for money” accommodation. This little homestay gets the tick of approval from us. It's an easy walk from the bus station after pickup at the ferry wharfe and a phone call brings the hostess to meet you and guide you to the property. The lobby is beautiful, very Chinese looking and the hostess may offer tea. Three of us shared a 2-bed room with private shower and toilet. It's a very small room but adequate for a short stay with good air conditioning (we stayed in winter and the reverse cycle AC warmed the room well), a window and key card door security. For us, definitely good value for money

It was my first time in Putuo Mountain, and I booked a room online in advance. When I'm new to a place, I always prefer booking online for the peace of mind. I contacted the owner after boarding the boat, and he came to help me with my luggage. The air conditioning was already on, and the hostess enthusiastically helped us plan our route and even exchanged coins. I was a little disappointed when I first arrived at the hotel, thinking the room was a bit small. That evening, I compared it with the nearby B&B and the hotel on Financial Street, and after chatting with the hostess, I realized that every inch of land in Putuo Mountain is truly valuable. I still felt that this hotel offered a good value for money, both in terms of location and amenities, so I decided to stay the next day. Of course, if you can afford it, you can book a hotel with a price tag of over four figures. I still recommend this B&B and will definitely stay again. I wish the owner good business.

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

This guesthouse is a hidden gem! The room was spotless and incredibly bright, with all the amenities you could need. The host was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and communication was a breeze. The location is super convenient for getting around, and the whole place felt cozy and comfortable. Excellent value for money, a perfect stay, and definitely worth coming back to. A special shout-out to the owner, who was so welcoming and considerate. Right after I booked, they called to offer travel tips, which was a huge help since it was my first time in Shengsi. There are also two adorable dogs in the courtyard. In the evenings, a few of us young people had drinks and chatted about life – I've never felt so relaxed. If I ever come back, I'll definitely choose this place again!

Really great hotel, great value for money! ! What I am most satisfied with is that the sound insulation effect is so great. I was worried about noise as I live next to the road, but I didn’t expect that I was worrying too much. My husband, mother and kids all like it very much. We will choose your place when we come to Putuo Mountain next time! !

It's a long time away from the pier. Suzhai is near the door. It takes 15 minutes to Puji Temple. There are buses from Puji Temple station to any temple and scenic spot. After packing your luggage, you can check it and store it at the pier. It's really convenient.

The room was nice and suitable for our family of three to stay together. The owner was also very welcoming. As it was raining on the island, we made a last-minute reservation. The owner's wife helped us buy things and lent us a charger.
