Perfectly fine hotel. Breakfast was a bit on the lighter side, mostly sandwiches and yogurt. But you definitely left feeling full, and the setting was pleasant. The rooms did what they needed to do. Small shower with the sink located outside, between the shower and the toilet. The beds were a bit firm. Great walking distance to Alexanderplatz.

The price is very convenient, especially considering the central location and if you are traveling solo. The structure is well organized and functional. I appreciated the bathroom concept - even though it’s shared, you have your own individual space, which gives you privacy and comfort. I stayed for 6 nights and always found the bathrooms to be very clean. It was also surprisingly quiet. I was able to sleep well every night. For more sensitive sleepers, they even provide earplugs. Overall, a good option if you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and well structured place to stay in Berlin.

The biggest advantage of this hostel is its location. Alexanderplatz is incredibly convenient for travelers, with many key attractions within walking distance. There's direct public transport to the main train station and the airport. A distinctive feature of this hostel is the large number of young teenagers, giving it a summer camp vibe with groups of young people everywhere. The common area is on the ground floor, featuring a pool table and shuffleboard. They offer a paid breakfast in the morning and have a small, lively bar in the evening. The room itself is standard, with a sink inside. The toilets and showers are acceptable. One of the toilet doors was a bit broken but still usable. Hand soap is provided, but there's no shower gel or shampoo. Breakfast includes sausages, bread, coffee, milk, tea, apples, tomatoes, and cucumbers. You can also pay extra for grilled sausages and fried eggs. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM, and hot water is available.

Everything was great! The location is convenient — you can quickly get to any metro station by tram. There is an option to borrow dishes and everything you need for a deposit, which is later returned. It’s clean and comfortable. The only downside is that there are no air conditioners in the rooms.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great hotel in a very convenient location, close to Berlin Hauptbahnhof. You can easily walk from the main train station, or take a bus if you prefer. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection. The price was also very reasonable considering the location. Overall, a great choice for staying in Berlin. Highly recommended!

Honest review and opinion as a budget solo traveller. For me, the hostel is more than what I expected, especially the size of the room. I stayed in a 8 Bed Mixed Dorm, which at first I was concerned about how crowded will it be inside the room. But all of my concern turned to something positive because the room is surprisingly big. Not only the bedroom, but also the bathroom. I stayed in the 4th floor which has got 2 large bathroom and 1 WC. Everything was very clean (thankfully the other guest when I stayed was cooperative enough to maintain the cleanliness). There’s a metro access near the hotel. It’s not far enough from the Central Train Station (Hauphtbahnof) if you get there by metro or tram, but it will be a far enough if you walk. Access to the room was very good. There’s a proper big elevator. Every access to the room was equipped with card lock. There’s a dining area (with a refrigerator, sink, etc) for guest. There’s also a small restaurant. When checking in, there’s a €10 deposit that should be paid, which will be paid back at the check out (make sure to bring the bed sheets, etc when checking out to get your deposit back). You can also leave your luggage before or after checking in/out. Overall, recommended. But keep in mind that this is a budget hostel/dorm/capsules. Don’t expect something from a regular-styled hotel.

Great location if you want to explore east berlin and all of it’s cool cafe’s and urban areas. Private rooms are fine. Little noisy at night but no big issues.

Very good place! But the room temperature was all over the place

I stayed one night at A&O Berlin Mitte during a solo trip, and once again, it proved to be my favorite place in Berlin. I chose a twin room and was really impressed: the room was spacious, clean, modern, and very comfortable. It's not a luxury hotel, but it offers everything you need for a pleasant stay, with excellent value for money. The facilities are welcoming, the staff is helpful, and the location is convenient for getting around the city. Every time I return to Berlin, I choose this hotel and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for practical, comfortable, and reliable accommodation.

Good for a short stay. Location was in a nice west neighbourhood in Berlin with lovely nature beside it. Quiet place, 10 mn walk to the Sbahn. Basic amenities and would recommend the breakfast!
