AAnonymous UserWe opted for a room in the more expensive Ocean Tower, which offered lovely views of the pool and a partial ocean view. It was great to have a free water and ice dispenser. The restaurant downstairs is famous and delicious, though the tips were quite high. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and attentive. At the front desk, one gentleman's attitude was a bit lukewarm, but all the ladies were very kind.
The hotel is conveniently located close to both the beach and the city center. They also offer a good number of their own activities where you can learn about Hawaiian culture. Every evening, there were different bands playing for three hours, creating an amazing atmosphere. For a family, the price was quite reasonable.

GGuest UserVery pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!

GGuest UserWe were given Room 08 in the Ewa building, and the balcony view was exactly as pictured. Even though we were on a high floor, we could still faintly hear the lively party music at night, but it didn't bother our sleep. I'm not sure if it would be an issue for lower floors. Getting to the beach was super convenient – just cross the street, turn right, and you're there. The waves on this part of the beach are very gentle and consistent, so I'd recommend renting a board and heading out. The hotel providing beach towels and chairs was a nice touch and very convenient. The room itself was quite spacious, and while it felt a bit dated, the restroom and bathroom had been renovated with updated fixtures, including a Japanese toilet. The only downside is that the bathroom space felt a bit cramped.

YYee11Hands down, this hotel is all about location, convenience, and comfort.
If you want to be right in the middle of all the Waikīkī buzz, this is it. You’re just minutes from Waikīkī Beach and within easy walking distance to International Market Place, Royal Hawaiian Center, countless restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores. Everything is so accessible that you can explore easily on foot.
The rooms feel fresh and newly renovated, with a modern island-chic style. Clean, bright, and comfortable — not ultra-luxury, but definitely more than sufficient for a relaxing stay. Perfect if you want the essentials done well without paying for full resort-style extras.
You’re surrounded by food options — poke, shave ice, smoothie spots, breakfast cafés, and nicer dinner restaurants. Convenience stores are just steps away, making it easy to grab essentials without needing transport.
If you value prime location, walkability, renovated rooms, an outdoor pool, a gym, and solid value over ultra-luxe amenities, this hotel is a great choice.

JJessyyThe hotel's location is great for public transport, and it's just across the street from Waikiki Beach. Right downstairs, there are ABC Stores, Starbucks, and other shops and restaurants, which is very convenient.
There were many front desk staff, but during peak hours, we still had to wait in line for a long time. We stored our large suitcases for 3 days due to island hopping, but were charged about $15, which contradicts the 'free luggage storage' mentioned on the platform.
The room itself was spacious with comfortable bedding, and there was a coffee maker that could also boil water. For drinking water, you need to bring your own bottle to refill in the lobby. The bathroom was quite roomy, and the toilet had a bidet.
From the room's balcony, you could see the beach and Diamond Head in the distance, but the view was somewhat obstructed. Perhaps because it's too close to the neighboring hotel, there was a huge, noisy machine on the building directly opposite the balcony, which was especially noticeable at night.
Although I was generally quite satisfied with the hotel, the drawbacks are something I can't overlook, so I might try a different place next time.

GGuest UserI stayed here two years ago, and I'm back again because it's in a great location and more affordable than other places. I really like the atmosphere, and the front desk staff were very kind. I took a ukulele lesson, which was included in the resort fee, and it was a lot of fun. I'd love to stay here again next time!

KKrazee MikeRenovated room was nice, featuring exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows. The location is excellent, right next to a bus stop, and complimentary benefits like reusable water bottles with cold refill stations and free beach chairs/umbrellas from a partner hotel add great value. Minor quirks exist (e.g., outlet placement, sticky door), but the overall experience is highly recommended, especially considering the competitive price.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel boasts a very central location in Waikiki, directly across from major stores like Target and Mitsuwa, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The bus stop is also very close, and you can walk to the beach and other large shopping centers.
The hotel and rooms have a modern interior design with no significant flaws, offering great value for money. The only minor issue is that there's a draft in the hallway, which causes a whistling sound when the door closes.
The hotel staff are all very friendly. I particularly liked Ariel; even though we had a language barrier, she was always patient and used translation software to communicate with me, helping me solve my problems. It was truly reassuring, and I hope to see her again someday! ^ ^

JJadon SThe view here is absolutely stunning; it's the main reason to go! The Diamond Head and ocean views are incredible, something you wouldn't typically find at a 4-star hotel. However, what was disappointing was that housekeeping only came every two days, and while they replaced the towels, it seemed they didn't change the bed sheets. I noticed a stain on the duvet before leaving, and when I returned after housekeeping, the duvet looked tidy, but the stain was still in the exact same spot. Parking cost about $290 for 5 days, and since it's valet, you also have to tip when you get your car, which can be an extra burden. If that's an issue for you, I'd recommend looking for free parking nearby. I just opted for valet because I didn't want the hassle. Waikiki is less than a 10-minute walk away, and most of the staff were very friendly.

BBeachbuoynzThe hotel has over the last couple of years been refurbished by new owners. The pool area is now better maintained and has dedicated staff who are present at all times. The pool is large snd nicely situated. The point of difference is the shade provided by numerous umbrellas and some shade trees. There is also bar and food service to your deckchair. The rooms are midsized suitable for two people and have a good sized lanai. Beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows. Bathroom is compact with shower over bath. Room lighting is dimmable and kettle available upon request. A safe is provided. A criticism would be the small fridge, 6 cans, a milk and a couple of yoghurts is about it. This is the best budget end hotel in Waikiki but budget still unfortunately isn't cheap these days. Overall an enjoyable stay with pool crew being the icing on the cake.
