AAnonymous UserThis hotel is located on Venice's main island, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, which is incredibly convenient for travelers with luggage – highly recommend! The breakfast selection is limited, offering basic coffee, drinks, and bread. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive, patiently answering all our questions and assisting with luggage storage.

MMC YongLocation very near to train station, good for us with heavy luggages.
Horrible experience to have to use own room private toilet, which is not in our room, but located at our upper floor…
Toilet is extremely small, even for Asian, just wonder how European can fit into this toilet.
Ss the toilet is extremely small, the shower curtain will stick to your body all the time while you are showering.
In our room, no toilet available but there is a complete kitchen. However, there isn’t any cooking utensils, cup, plate, or even simple kettle there.
Your information about local hotel tax is €2 / pax, but the counter lady was trying to collect €3.50 instead!
Very terrible experience and we stopped bathing and plan to bathe only in Milan …

RRaluca DascalitaI stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room.
It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor.
The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged.
All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews.
This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.
AAzaKhNot only was the room very small for its price, but on top of that, they charged extra for the city tax( not what was mentioned on trip.com)
The worst part, especially for a freelancer, was the awful internet connection. Since the rooms are in different buildings, the Wi-Fi was unreliable, which completely ruined my experience as someone trying to work and travel at the same time.

GGuest UserThis is a really lovely little hotel. It's small but perfectly formed, and the reception is just down the road at another hotel. It's the perfect place for a short stay of one or two nights, especially since it's really close to the train station. We were very grateful that they let us in at 1am. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the staff were helpful. The breakfasts are really good too, especially when you consider the Italian norm of just espresso and croissants.

HHunnyBhee✅I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Airone!
✅The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better!
✅The location is very convenient—just a 6-minute walk to the bus stop, so getting around was easy!
✅✅Plus! I also appreciated the free breakfast, which was a nice bonus.
✅The hotel is clean, affordable, and overall a great value for the price.

GGuest UserThe hotel has an excellent location, about 200 meters from the Rialto Bridge, making it convenient for exploring the city on foot and also close to the Rialto boat stop.
The hotel is ”spartan.” We had a triple room; the room was small, and the bathroom didn't have a bidet. The bathroom was small, but it had a comfortable shower. The beds weren't the most comfortable; I think the mattresses were a bit dated, especially the one on the ”campina,” which was the third bed in the room. Breakfast is available at the hotel for €5 per person, and includes orange juice, a small sandwich, a croissant, jam, and a tub of Nutella. A hot drink (coffee/cappuccino or other beverage) is also included.
The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly.
Overall, for the price paid, I'd say it's definitely worth it for 2-3 nights.

GGuest UserIt's a decent hostel, I can't say anything bad about it. It's clean, beautiful, and cozy. The only downside is that they didn't send me the entry code in advance. There's no administrator. I had to WhatsApp and verify my identity through that. I'd be tempted to ask for the entry code in advance so I don't have to stand at the door for an hour.

TTee LLWhen we reached, the reception told us that due to unforeseen circumstances, the room that we've booked ( with shared toilet)wasn't available and he offered us another room with private toilet with extra xx€ ( I forgot how much was it) but I refused to pay extra. In the end the reception gave us a free upgrade.
It was written that I should had paid 1.x euro at the hotel but the receiption asked to pay 2€ without giving me a receipt
The room was clean. The location was good. Close to eating places and supermarkets and train station. Travellers with luggages should choose this location. Facing the canal and station is at the back, turn left and after some minutes of walks the hotel is found.
