3-Star Hotels in Lucerne

Lovely hotel with everything you need and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only downside is that it is on a busy and loud strip, so there is constant noise, especially if you open the window. But other than that, it’s a great hotel.

Although the hotel's facilities are a bit dated, they are very well-maintained, and the rooms are quite spacious. However, in the standard twin rooms, the beds are still quite close together (a common phenomenon in Europe). The hotel's location is not far from the river; it's about a five to six-minute walk to the riverside. Crossing the bridge brings you right to the heart of the old town. You can walk to attractions like the old city walls and the Lion Monument. The service attitude is also excellent, and any issues are addressed promptly. Breakfast is good too.

The hotel is a typical old-fashioned hotel with antique decoration and a small elevator. The view of Lake Lucerne is just outside the room window. The breakfast is good. Parking is not very convenient. You cannot park at the door of the hotel. There is a social parking lot opposite that charges a fee (temporary parking is free). There are two hotel-specific parking spaces, but they are often not available. However, there is a public parking lot 300 meters away from the hotel. After checking in, the front desk will inform you of the parking lot location and enter the license plate information, and you can park for free.

Hotel location is very good, we walked to Lucerne two hours in the morning, the balcony window is the spire of the church. Small, like a family hotel, the key is left in the envelope on the front desk, no staff provides other counselling services. The room did not have air conditioning, and I woke up in the middle of the night and found that there was a desktop fan. Overall, the price is not high, did not sleep well

Hotel was in a great location, room was clean and very nice, bed was comfortable, and view was nice. Our bathroom was across the hall from our bedroom-- which though a little strange --didn't cause us any issues as it was private and clean (and huge). The only critique I have would be about the self check-in. I understand the goals of having a streamlined check-in process, but we didn't recieve the email with instructions, and had no answer to an email of inquiry. It took me phoning the hotel's administration to get an answer, in which the woman was very helpful, but did take away some of our time in Lucerne. If there was a more straightforward process that did not involve using the machine at the front door, as well as having clearer instructions on checking out, the stay would have been perfect.

Отдельная благодарность менеджеру Bangin Salih за оперативную помощь с заселением и внимательное отношение к гостям. Было приятно чувствовать заботу и готовность помочь в любой ситуации. Очень порадовало качество постельного белья, а одеяло и подушки словно облако 💔 Чистота, сервис и особенно завтрак выше всех похвал 😍

Hotel goldener stern has a very nice outlook. Very cool vibes when i first stepped in. Check in was self service and easy. The lift is small so its only good for one person with luggage or two persons without luggage. The room is clean just rather small. Toilet is clean too. About 10 mins walk to luzerne station. There is also a bus that you can take from luzerne station to the accom. just need to walk 2-3 mins from bus stop. Overall, not a bad accom!

Good is good, because the location is very good, you can see the beautiful river without walking for 1 minute. The bed was very comfortable and each person gave us a grain of sugar. The biggest drawback here is that there is no breakfast, which makes us feel very hungry in the morning... But there is a pool here, which can be enjoyed slowly by those who like to swim. Although the pool is a bit small, it is quite good.

Spacious enough for 4 of us. Building has elevator. Location wise: just 3 bus stops from main station. A Migros is just nearby, very convenient to get groceries. Kitchen area is big. Bathroom a bit tight but we ok

The front desk is only available from morning till 11pm, so be sure you have to complete your check in beforehand. Ps. the check in/out counter is at a different location (around 2 mins walk from magic hotel).
