4-Star Hotels in Perth

This trip to Perth, I stayed in three hotels in total, and this one for 5 days was my favorite and offered the best value for money. The room wasn't huge, but it felt spacious. The staff were very polite. Initially, I thought they only provided two bottles of water daily, but then I found a card in the bathroom stating that guests could refill water on the first floor! We just didn't notice it earlier. There are many delicious and affordable restaurants nearby, and some beautiful buildings too. Plus, the free Red Cat bus to the city center is conveniently close. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Stayed here for several nights during my work trip and had an excellent experience throughout. The hotel is in a fantastic location in Northbridge, within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, and the Perth CBD. It was also very convenient for exploring popular attractions around Perth. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and good amenities. Housekeeping maintained the room well during my stay. The staff were professional, welcoming, and always helpful whenever assistance was needed. One of the highlights of this hotel is the location. It is surrounded by plenty of dining options and provides easy access to public transport. The hotel also offers great facilities and a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of work or sightseeing. Overall, DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, great facilities, comfortable rooms, and a perfect location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Perth.

Perth Two-Bedroom Executive Suite | Spacious & Comfortable, Excellent View, Thoughtful Service My stay in the two-bedroom executive suite in Perth city center was extremely satisfying overall! Spacious Rooms: The suite was very large, featuring a master suite, a separate bedroom, and a guest toilet, offering excellent privacy. The living room connected to a large balcony, overlooking Perth waterfront, providing an excellent view. Well-Equipped Kitchen: The full kitchen came with an induction cooktop (heats up incredibly fast) and an oven (very useful). The kitchenware and bathroom were both very clean. The only minor drawback was a bit of rust on the dishwasher, but it didn't affect its use. Parking and Transportation: The hotel parking is $35 per day with unlimited in-and-out access, which is very convenient. Do note that there aren't many drop-off spots at the entrance, so you might have to wait a bit during peak hours. The location is superb, within walking distance to the Mint and the pier. Thoughtful Service: During our stay, there was a long-distance running event that caused road closures. The hotel staff was very accommodating, allowing us to return the parking key after the event concluded, which saved us a lot of hassle. Conclusion: This is an apartment that excels in space, view, amenities, and service. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!

The only downside of the family room was having just one bathroom, which made getting ready for four people quite a long process. The air conditioning in the room was noisy and affected my sleep quality to some extent. On the positive side, the location is excellent, making it very convenient to get around. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, and you can walk to attractions in the city center. Plus, there's a bus stop about 200 meters from the hotel with a direct bus to Perth University.

We recently stayed at Wonil Hotel for a weekend getaway with my toddler, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience overall. We arrived late in the evening and were advised at check-in that there was no parking available, despite the booking information stating that parking was available and no reservation was required. As a solo parent travelling with a young child and luggage, this created a very stressful start to our stay. It took us 4 trips up and down between the basement and the room, and no assistance was offered by staff at check in. Soon after we transferred our luggage to the room, around 9pm, I had to drive along Hackett Drive towards Matilda Bay Restaurant to search for street parking. As a parent travelling alone with a toddler, I did not feel comfortable leaving my car there overnight. I then had to carry my child and walk several hundred metres back to the hotel in the dark, which was quite upsetting and honestly made me feel unsafe. During our stay, I could also regularly hear staff chatting at reception and complaining about other guests, which did not feel professional or welcoming. The hotel itself is relatively new and the location is excellent — close to the foreshore, playgrounds, walking trails and restaurants — which was the main reason I chose it. However, the overall build quality and room presentation were disappointing. Our bathroom sink was leaking, and there were visible cracks and defects in the bench and fittings. Before booking, I genuinely thought this could become one of our regular weekend getaway spots because the location has so much potential. Unfortunately, after this experience, I would not feel comfortable returning as a solo parent travelling with a child again.

I arrived at the airport in the evening and stayed one night nearby before picking up a rental car the next morning for a self-drive trip north. The hotel is close to the airport and offers a free shuttle bus, which is great! Service: You need to call the front desk for the shuttle after arriving, which was a bit of a challenge for my English listening skills, especially since the pick-up spot wasn't exactly as described online. Luckily, Perth Airport isn't too big. The next morning, I took the shuttle back to the airport to pick up my car, again for free. This is a huge plus in high-cost Australia 👍 Environment: The hotel is located by the highway, but the courtyard is quiet and clean. Hygiene: The windows in the room couldn't be opened, and there was a strong smell of cleaning solution that wouldn't dissipate. Other than that, everything else was fine.

We had a wonderful stay at Oaks Perth Hotel, and the biggest highlight was definitely the location. It’s only about a 3-minute walk to Perth Underground Station, which connects directly to Perth Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city and travel to places like Fremantle and beyond. The hotel is also within walking distance of plenty of shopping, including Kmart, Woolworths, Sephora, and many other stores, so everything we needed was close by. As Muslim travellers, we also appreciated that there was a Malaysian restaurant serving halal food just a short walk away, along with several other halal dining options nearby. The room itself was comfortable, although it is a little dated. It was spacious enough for our family, and the largest room could comfortably accommodate up to six adults with one main bed and two sofa beds. The kids especially loved having their own little space in front of the TV. The pillows were very comfortable, and while our booking didn’t include housekeeping, it wasn’t an issue since we were only staying for a few days. My only suggestions for improvement would be to provide a sponge holder in the kitchenette and a little more dishwashing liquid, as only two small packets were provided. We also noticed that a few of the pots and some dishware still had stains on them, so a little more attention to the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils would make the stay even better. I didn’t manage to take many photos during our stay (just this one!), but I can say that the hotel’s listing photos are an accurate representation of the rooms. What you see is truly what you get, which we really appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The unbeatable location made getting around Perth so easy, and we’d definitely consider staying here again on our next visit.

The location is excellent, being close to Elisabeth Quay, but the path between Elisabeth Quay station and the hotel felt dark and a bit scary. Housekeeping is only every three days, and I would have preferred daily towel and trash changes. While there's a washer and dryer, the dryer was broken and unusable. Also, there were someone else's pants left in the washing machine when I checked in.

Located in the heart of Perth, this hotel boasts a very convenient location for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. Its proximity to the train station and bus stops was a plus, allowing us to explore the city easily on foot. The room was clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The staff were also very kind and helpful, which made us feel at ease during our visit. Considering the location and price, I believe this hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Perth in the future.
