Amazing
TTravel.binHonestly, after several trips, this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. What really stands out is the room service, cleanliness, and high standards. And above all, the friendliness of the staff – truly excellent! I'll definitely be back if there's another good offer. The rooftop pool is also fantastic and not too crowded.
GGuest Userwill never stay here again. Location is bad, All the rooms smell horrible, like all of them, I got into my non smoking apartment, smelt disgusting, I asked them to change rooms, they showed me another room, smelled the same, gross, the smell sticks to the clothes, laundry machines are useless and dirty. Staff is nice. They asked me to write a review as I was checking out, the guy wanted me to write it there on the spot with him. I told him no. This leads me to believe there are several false reviews on google. Gym is good, pool is good.
GGuest UserThe property was in a good location- walkable distance to MIA park and museum. The service was exceptional from the night staff, our son had spoiled the sheet twice at night and both times they were very quick to change sheets. The breakfast was good, a range of options and something for everyone to enjoy.
I think some aspects of the rooms can be upgraded as we can see the wear and tear. Otherwise spacious rooms and big and nice bathrooms
MMiss SoloHighly recommended for female solo traveller!
Staff were helpful, sweet and considerate. I emailed them beforehand for my situation : landed early morning, used next-day breakfast quota on the day i land, and hopefully an ultra early check in. And all wishes were granted! Hence i took a nice shower before breakfast and took a recovery nap in the afternoon.
Breakfast was awesome, with loads of variety and attentive services. Cozy and nice environment.
Location was perfect, only 8mins uber away from Museum of Islamic Art and Qatar National Museum.
Room was styled old-fashionably, clean and tidy with amenities on requests.
GGuest UserThe service was excellent! The front desk staff upgraded me to a studio because I was traveling alone and accidentally booked a smoking room. I'm sure this room change made a huge positive difference to my stay over the past few days! The room was spacious, absolutely fantastic! The pillows were a bit too flat and soft, though.
I stayed for 3 nights. On the first night, even past 1 AM, there was still constant and rhythmic dragging of tables and chairs coming from upstairs, which made me involuntarily think the worst. Luckily, this didn't happen on the next two nights. I hope I wasn't just scaring myself.
Overall, it's definitely recommended! 👍🏻
GGuest UserI can’t go there after my booking because I miseed my flight to Doha, I contact the hotel and explain the situation but they said I need to contact to trip.com, after I contact trip.com they try to contact the hotel again and they reject my change date because of I missed my flight. I will not recommend this hotel if you have the same situation with me. Also I got deducted twice for this booking it’s so annoying.
GGuest UserBad points were that there was a nasty drain smell in the bathroom, also coffee/tea not refreshed. In fact, housekeeping took some coffee sachets away! Toiletries not refreshed either after initial allocation. It was handy that you could get a beer in the bar, but that's if you could tolerate the drunk locals. I popped in to get a beer for 3 nights and it was the same every night. The bar staff were lovely but getting abused by the drunks. On my last time in the bar, a Sudenese man made me very uncomfortable (I'm not a shrinking violet). The reception staff varied, one of them downright lied to me saying the Metro would not be running till 6am (it opens at 5 am). He said I would have to get a taxi for early flight for 50 riyal. Con artist. I also asked him for an alarm call which never happened. I got the Metro to airport just fine. The location isn't bad as you're next to a main Metro station, but I would recommend staying in the Souk Waqif and getting a hotel near the Metro stations there. I say stations because they have different access points which come out at different spots so use Google Street view to check. Didn't use pool or have breakfast so can't comment. Overall, I would stay somewhere else!
AAli Ihsan DXBThis hotel is mediocre at best. Good things are that the rooms are large, breakfast is OK, location is very good. Bad things are that the hotel is old and not maintained in best condition. The shower pressure is fluctuating. It is not top clean, merely acceptable level. The furniture are old, you can see finger marks or scratches on them. Toilet seat has yellowed out with stains of old. You can notice the splotches of silicone in bathroom tiles, clear markers of cheap labor. Towels are coarse. Can say more but you get the picture. If you are a discerning traveler, you might be bothered with such details, though this feeling may be offset with the relatively low price of the hotel. Lastly, the hotel actually warns you about this and it bears notice that there are bars in the hotel and weekends being a lot of bachelor party-goers to the hotel at night.
YYuta_JimaNot bad with my booked room charges. But I found 2 small cockroaches in the room and only 1 set of amenities even thought additional ones were provided immediately once I requested. Front staff were friendly and ok.
