Hotel Styrolerhof ★★★
"Hotel was good but rooms a little basic (no water, fridge or AC) but the bed was good and the food and service were excellent. The road had a closure at the time of the trek and the hotel laid on a bus to get us to the start of our destination which was very kind and thoughtful. I would have no hesitation going back to this hotel"

"It's not my first visit to the Hauser family, but my first since the renovation and I have to say: the hotel is simply amazing! The mix of old and new, rustic and modern in the heart of the Lechtal makes this hotel something very special. My friend and I couldn't help but be amazed. The rooms were beautiful, again a perfect mix of how you can conjure up rustic elements in a modern ambience. The rooftop spa 10 out of 10. After a long day of hiking, you can relax and retreat up there perfectly. The food, as always, to melt away. Nothing is missing from the loving preparation of the breakfast, which also has a large selection from the freshest cheese to your own honeycomb. The dinner, which consists of 5 courses, was a pleasure every evening. And if you came back early from your hike, you could make yourself comfortable in the beer garden with a delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In the evening you could make yourself comfortable in the large bar in the new part of the hotel and sip a cocktail with Leonardo DiCaprio (who hangs above the bar). However, my greatest praise goes to the Hauser family and their team. As soon as you arrive you are warmly welcomed. You immediately feel at home and during our entire stay you didn't miss the warmth that the entire team radiated. We are already looking forward to our next vacation at the Sterawirts Hauserei!"
AlpenParks Hotel & Apartment Arlberg Warth Mit Pool ★★★
"I strongly advise against staying at this accommodation! We arrived at the place around 1 p.m. and wanted to ask at reception if we could leave our cars and get something to eat somewhere in town. Before we could even say "hello," the woman behind the reception desk snapped at us, "Check-in isn't until 3 p.m." As it turned out later, the "friendliness personified" behind the reception desk was the hotel manager. So we got in our cars and drove to the old dairy in town for lunch. Around 3:30 p.m., we drove back to the accommodation and got our rooms relatively quickly. The surprise came when we entered the apartment... The room was significantly smaller than the one we had booked and didn't have the beds and bathroom amenities listed in the booking confirmation. On top of that, we had, of course, paid a higher price for the room. This was presumably a misunderstanding, so we went back to reception. In the meantime, a long queue had formed. There were about six parties ahead of us. It seems we weren't the only ones who had this experience; a couple ahead of us had a similar problem, and the family behind us had also received a smaller room than booked. Well, it was our turn (after about an hour's wait) and until then we still assumed it was a mistake and would surely be cleared up. The receptionist was very helpful but said we would have to discuss it with the hotel manager. So we did, and we tried to explain to the hotel manager, whom we had already met at lunchtime, that we unfortunately hadn't received the room we had booked and paid for. I wanted to show her the booking confirmation, but she refused to see it and kept interrupting me with the same phrase: "You received the room you booked and paid for." Even when I pointed out that pregnant women can't sleep in a bunk bed, she simply replied, "A bunk bed is also a double bed." Then, after three unsuccessful attempts to explain, she said, "I can't do anything anyway, we're fully booked." With that, she disappeared through the door by the reception desk, leaving us and the other family with two children standing there. We thought she'd come back soon and see what she could do. When she still hadn't reappeared after 50 minutes, we decided to contact the hotel chain's headquarters directly, hoping for some assistance, as the hotel manager seemed uninterested in resolving the problem. We went back to the apartment where our children and wives had been waiting for a little over two hours and tried to reach the headquarters by phone when suddenly the doorbell rang. There stood the helpful lady from reception (not...)."
