Gasthof Kleefeld ★★★

"We recently stayed at Hotel Kleefeld for five days. It's a lovely hotel in a secluded location near Lake Wolfgang. The owner gave us a friendly and uncomplicated welcome. All the staff were, once again, extremely friendly and helpful. It has a very welcoming, family atmosphere. The rooms are functionally furnished, very clean, and have comfortable beds. Breakfast is also quite good. One day, due to the low occupancy during the pre-Christmas period, we had our egg dishes made to order from the kitchen. And they were perfect! We've rarely eaten such delicious eggs. We would have loved it if it had been like that on the other days as well. But the scrambled eggs from the buffet were also very, very tasty. The hotel has a small wellness area without a pool. It's very nicely furnished and quite pleasant for a short break. The surrounding landscape is simply relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Our dog, Da Vinci, loved the area :-) We will definitely come back next year because we simply feel at home here. Of course, the hotel isn't comparable to a five-star wellness resort in the Alps, but that's not its aim. For us, 8 out of 10 points."

Seehotel Brandauer's Villen ★★★★

"Stayed one night in a nice room with balcony overlooking Lake Wolfgang. Nice and clean room with Nespresso coffeemaker in the room. Unfortunatley the restaurant was closed but the nice lady in the reception was very helpful and brought us a bottle of wine to consum in our room. Breakfast was nice."

"This is a wonderful house. Even when the weather wasn’t great, we were happy to spend the whole day indoors because the house was so comfortable and enjoyable. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it."

Hotel Stroblerhof ★★★★

"Stayed on coach trip for week. Given attic apartment loads of space and storage. Kitchen area downstairs with large living room 2 single beds and 2 settees. Great views. Air conditioning units too as really needed with hot temperatures. Alas the double bed placed so had to crawl backwards into bed. Bit of a gripe if you want loo in night, bang head on ceiling as all beamed! No storage by bed and awkward to turn off lights too. First night owner came to welcome party and went round tables to ask if any questions. I needed skimmed milk which he said was no problem they had. Alas at breakfast only one kind of milk and was not skimmed. Also supermarket said they had none either. So no hot drinks for a week at hotel. Small supply I had used on coach. Nice pool area when weather good."
