"Very nice service, clean room and facilities in good condition. The position is great with only 2 mins walk to the train station. Convenient area with restaurants opening from 8am to 11pm. Best choice for train trip to suburb area around Nice.
Cons: tea and milk provided is normal as in any French supermarkets. The layout of room is a bit tight. The bathroom may splash water out.
Generally good hotel in Nice. Would recommend friends to visit as a safe choice in a normal budget."

LLazarouxgetting there : you dont need the tram from Terminal 1 (its walking distance and its well sign posted)but you do for terminal 2. The main door was out of order so in the dark it’s hard to find the side one.
Reception was easy but there can member of staff after 10/11pm which could delays things.
Rooms are fine but I would not say to Sheraton standards and certainly nothing to brag about on the deluxe room option. All comfortable, practical , clean and what you need for an overnight stay.
The pool was closed as Jan/feb there is no one to supervise and rather cold. This was not mentioned when booking was done which is a shame if you have kids!
Room: is fine but there is a constant buzzing noise which either comes from the aircon or the electrical unit outside ( not sure). Bed is comfy and cosy and bathroom is all what you need.
However there is a constant smell of sewage coming and going either in the hotel area or the bathroom. It’s intermittent and comes and goes, somewhat unpleasant at times but not overwhelming annoying.
Breakfast was good and you can order an omelette (as per previous unsure reviews) on request though plenty of choice is presented for full international breakfast. It’s all spread out over the whole room so there is a lot of going and coming around :)
Overall easy stay for a night , Summers or hot days must be fun with the top terrace/pool thought the view is mostly over the airport ( if you like that).
I would say a tick expensive for what you get but they can charge a premium for airport surroundings!
Recommend for short stay or late arrival.

XXihuanlvyoudexiaozhuziThis hotel is great by European standards. The service is excellent, and it's spotlessly clean every day. The location is super convenient, just a 7-minute walk from Nice train station, making it incredibly easy to get to Monaco. The beach is also only about a ten-minute walk away, which is fantastic. It's in the heart of Nice, surrounded by shops and restaurants, so eating and shopping are a breeze. Just one small thing though: I didn't realize it was a Marriott property before, so I didn't use my membership card and missed out on elite nights and breakfast.

AAnonymous UserI want to pat myself on the back for choosing this hotel; it was truly excellent. The location, service, cleanliness, and food were all impeccable. If you do choose this hotel, definitely include breakfast! You can see the ocean, and watching happy corgis stroll along the beach while you eat just makes you feel like a wonderful day is about to begin. The croissant was the best I had on the entire trip! The room had a bathtub, which was perfect for soaking away the fatigue after walking all over Nice. The bed was incredibly plush and guaranteed a good night's sleep, and if you're someone who hates being woken up by the morning sun, there are shutters on the window that you can close. The location is right in front of the sea; just cross the street and you're there. Place Masséna is about a 15-minute walk, and there's a laundromat about 5 minutes away. This is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again the next time I visit Nice!

GGuest UserFantastic hotel with great location. Rooms were lovely with a terrace. Lovely touch at night with a turndown service. Chocolate and gold eye masks. Spa and rooftop pool were great especially after a long day sightseeing. Rooms cleaned to perfection and all fresh towels and bedding. Staff were fantastic especially Samantha who checked us in. She was friendly and gave plenty of recommendations for eating and heading out on day trips. She also brought balloons and welcome champagne as it was a special trip with a lovely card from the hotel staff. She was amazing and is a credit to the hotel.
Location 7mins to the beach and 7mins to the train station. Perfect for exploring the coast.
Will be returning to the hotel in the near future. Thank you for a special stay.

GGuest UserOverall, I was satisfied, but I kept hearing a 'ding-dong' knocking sound, which I didn't experience on the 6th floor a few days ago. I'm on the 4th floor now, so maybe they're doing some maintenance.
Also, a 100 Euro deposit is required for every stay, even though the full payment has already been made. This seems a bit unreasonable; even the famous Swiss hotels only charge a 1 Euro deposit. Hmm.

GGuest UserPerfect location for exploring Nice. Our room lacked basic maintenance, the bathroom extractors did not work, the overhead shower did not work and the heated towel rail was stuck on maximum making use of the toilet beneath uncomfortable. The breakfast was good value with plenty of choice. The staff were mostly great except the women at the pool bar in the evening who was very rude and condescending. I would stay here again purely based on location.

ZZhaoyikuThe location is about 1.5 kilometers from the beach. There is a road under construction in front of the door, which is a bit messy. There is a supermarket not far away. Parking is in a parking building across the road. You need to go to the front desk to get a barcode before driving over. You have to scan the barcode twice to enter and exit the parking building, which is a test of thinking and action ability. To put it bluntly, it is a bit confusing. The hotel facilities are not bad, but it is a bit old. I don’t know if it’s the water pipes or some equipment that occasionally starts at night, it’s a bit noisy. It’s just like that if you pass by and stay for one night.

There was some hesitancy to ”work with me” because I booked thru a third-party site; ultimately they did get me in the room a little earlier than the schedule check-in time, but would not allow me to cancel the last day because my flight was the day earlier (so I paid for a full day stay that I wasn't even there!) The location was perfect amount of walking distance to transportation, to eating / shopping / site seeing, Old Town and THE BEACH!!

GGuest UserI've never encountered such terrible service before. I can't believe a hotel that profits from Chinese tourists would treat them so poorly.
1. I booked a deluxe sea view room, but was given a ground floor room with no sea view at all. When I asked the front desk to change rooms, I was told there were no other sea view rooms available, but I could switch to a city view room on a higher floor.
2. Upon entering the new room, I immediately discovered an unidentifiable object in the bathroom.
3. The seal on the paid snacks was already broken.
4. It took 5 calls to the front desk before anyone answered. I asked for an extra duvet and was told the hotel didn't have any spare ones, and they would check and get back to me. As expected, I never received a call back.
5. All the staff treated Caucasians exceptionally well, while being very dismissive towards Asian guests.
