Osaka Hotels with Pools

Stepping into this hotel felt like going back in time to The Great Gatsby. It's probably the most luxurious hotel I've stayed at in Osaka. They really made good use of the public spaces, and the Peacock Alley is simply stunning – I could admire it all day. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, which made communication quite easy. Contrary to what I read online, the standard room was perfectly fine. I was given a high floor, and the room was spacious, well-divided, with plenty of space for luggage. The twin room had two queen-sized beds (1.5 meters each), making it very family-friendly. The downsides were the low water pressure in the bathroom and the water not getting hot enough. They provided Aesop amenities, and the ginger scent was lovely. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was semi-buffet style with limited variety, and the main courses were quite uninspired, not really matching the room rate. I do recommend the French toast among the main dishes, it was excellent. The biggest issue was the long queues, which really detracted from the experience. The hotel's location is quite good. Directly downstairs is Green Place with a wide variety of dining options, and Ushigoro is on the third floor. You can walk to department stores like Hanshin, but taking a taxi is more convenient for Hankyu.

Had a wonderful stay, room is spacious, link to a mall sheltered. A junction away from Yodobashi Mall and Umeda Train station. The rooms are reasonably big. Love the bathroom. Separate beds are slightly bigger than single beds. Linens are luxurious high thread count. Room Flooring is semi wood and carpeted. Coffee and Tea are complimentary, comes with full set of in room requirements, ironing set, luxurious bathrobe, bar fridge, comfy bedroom slippers, safe, V Sassoon hair dryer, full bathing and vanity kit, toilet cubicle is separate by a door, bath tub is of good size, separate shower water pressure is fantastic. Motorised linen blinds, daily bottles of water Here’s my favourite: Facilities include 24hrs of fully equipped gym all machines including leg machines, bar and free weights, gym balls, foam rollers, treadmill, elliptical, bicycle etc. Use of Bathhouse and indoor swimming pool included as part of the booking. Spa facial and massage avail at a fee. Lounge area is great with nice matcha latte. Had buffet breakfast in the morning, sufficient variety. Lotsa fruits choices. Building is exclusive luxury. Initial check-in process can be better and less rigid. Pre-paid room type if unavailable, guests should be informed ahead prior to arrival. Somewhere between Trip.com and the hotel miscommunication should not affect the hotel guests traveling 12 hours to reach there. Director of rooms Mr Liam Wynn Williams saved the day. The hotel staff were very welcoming. The gym and pool had dedicated attendants, and you could rent swimsuits. The pool was heated, and they provided towels, bathrobes, iced lemonade, mineral water, and a swimsuit dryer. Basically, you could just go down in slippers with your room card to enjoy it. The pool area also had a sauna and a cold plunge pool. The hotel's breakfast selection was rich, offering Western pastries, Chinese dim sum, and various Chinese porridges, all of which tasted quite good. The hotel also offered electric bicycle rentals, perfect for cycling to Osaka Castle. The JR station was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The tea in the room was also delicious, and the teapot selection showed good taste, allowing you to enjoy tea and the views of Osaka Castle from your room. The hotel bathrobes were very comfortable, and even the hairdryer was a Dyson. The room key was a wooden hotel logo card attached to a wristband. It's fine if you're not going far, but I personally prefer a card-style room key that can fit in my wallet.

Pros: 1. Exceptionally clean. 2. The room has an transom window that can be opened for ventilation (it's rare for high-end city hotels to offer openable windows; I hope they retain this feature when they renovate). Fresh air is definitely better than a ventilation system, as ventilation ducts can also accumulate pollutants. 3. High-quality ingredients used for breakfast. 4. Room service food is delicious; I ordered it multiple times (mainly because there aren't many dining options nearby). 5. Plenty of convenience stores in the vicinity. 6. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom, very refreshing. 7. The toilet light brightness is adjustable, allowing you to see clearly at night without being fully woken up. 8. Great location. It's actually quite close to Umeda. A taxi to Shinsaibashi cost 125 yen, and back from Umeda was between 70-80 yen. A taxi to Universal Studios Japan (USJ) was 365 yen. The airport is less than an hour away. 9. All staff members greet you with a bow, giving a very 'old money' imperial vibe. 10. The rooms are spacious. I recommend booking a 40 square meter room for a very comfortable stay. Cons: 1. The adjacent shopping mall is struggling, and all the restaurants inside have closed down, leaving very few dining options nearby. Only McDonald's is open; otherwise, you have to walk at least 700-800 meters to find a decent restaurant. Also, the hotel doesn't offer a buffet dinner for lunch or dinner, which meant I had to rely on room service. 2. The hotel provides very few toiletries; there wasn't even body lotion. Who doesn't moisturize after a shower? Hotels like Okura at least provide a small sample pack with a tiny packet of makeup remover, face wash, toner, and lotion – that can't cost much. 3. The room service menu could be more diverse. 4. The buffet breakfast variety is exactly the same every day. After eating it for five days, it was hard to keep going. Couldn't they introduce a little variety?

The hotel's location is superb. It's a convenient 3-5 minute walk to Osakajokoen JR Station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an elevator inside the station that goes directly to the exit. After exiting, you walk about a hundred meters along a corridor to another elevator that takes you to ground level. Cross a small bridge and an intersection, and you're at the hotel. This is incredibly convenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is situated on the northeast side of Osaka Castle Park, by a small bridge, so you can easily stroll along the castle moat anytime. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. Cross the overpass from the park's south exit, and you'll find Q's Mall. There are also countless restaurants if you walk to Kyobashi Station (and along the way). For airport transfers, take the JR line to Tennoji, then transfer to the JR Loop Line (red), and it's just six stops to Osakajokoen Station. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing – it's very quiet. The mattress and pillows are just right, providing a great sleeping environment. The hotel service is highly professional, from the front desk and restaurant to the lobby and concierge. The breakfast is a rich blend of Western and Japanese styles (though the coffee was a bit weak). I stayed for seven nights in total and had a fantastic experience.

★★★★★ 5/5 Had a wonderful stay at CANDEO HOTELS Osaka Shinsaibashi and would happily return again. The location is honestly one of the biggest highlights — incredibly convenient. The hotel is directly connected to the lively Shinsaibashi area, with shopping and food everywhere around you. Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street is right nearby and leads all the way towards Dotonbori, making it perfect for exploring on foot. Daimaru and many well-known shopping malls are also within easy walking distance. One thing that made this hotel feel unique was the atmosphere around the rooftop Sky Spa. The rooftop bath area feels peaceful and calming despite being in the middle of the city, especially at night after a full day of shopping and walking. Such a beautiful way to unwind. The hotel itself was very clean, modern and surprisingly spacious for Osaka standards. We never felt cramped and had enough room to settle in comfortably. Another fun surprise — MiPig Cafe is only a short walk away across the area (around a few minutes), which we really enjoyed visiting. We also tried the in-room massage service after a long shopping day and it was amazing. Pricing felt reasonable and it was honestly one of the best decisions after walking so much. Excellent location, comfortable stay, relaxing bath experience and thoughtful facilities — definitely a 5-star experience for us and would stay again next trip to Osaka ❤️

It's located in Namba which is one of the busiest and exciting neighborhoods in Osaka. Direct train to KIX in the same building is the biggest plus. Dotonbori is only 10 min walk away. We had an amazing sushi dinner a few mins from the hotel. You never get hungry staying there. Front desk staff speak very good English. If you opt out of breakfast, the cafe on 3rd floor facing express train station is an excellent choice for coffee and pastries. A few min walk there an excellent brunch cafe that opens at 8 am. If you arrive by train from Kyoto/Nara, it's a little past to n navigate to the hotel. Just get to the 3rd floor first around Takashimaya. Signage is mucus easier from there. Rooms are spacious. We picked the renovated room Swiss Select. It's absolutely worth paying a little bit more. I'll definitely stay there again should I be visiting Osaka in the future.

This one just beats all my other stays in Japan, it was seriously that good. The location is near Umeda Station, a super quick three-minute walk, and it was so easy to find amazing local cuisine nearby. The public bath is the absolute MVP here. I was totally not expecting someone with a tattoo on the back like me to be allowed in, but it was fine. My Japanese friend even said, ”Your public bath is way too good to be the one of a hotel, it should be a private public bath.” The quality is superb, and the amenities are fully equipped with everything you have in your own bathroom: hair spray, shampoo, hair conditioner, sponge, razor, nail clipper, nourishing cream, toothbrush, toothpaste and woww a lot. You put heart in every detail. It was my first experience with a Japanese public bath, and it was the best. The staff are super friendly but still uphold guests’ privacy. Having a lot of guests, it was surprisingly enough to sleep. Just one quick recommendation: The hostel requires a daily check-in even when you book consecutive days. For us, it was no problem sorting out and communicating with staffs. But some foreign guests seemed a bit confused by the process. If they could clarify that for non-Japanese speakers better, the place would be beyond perfect! Thanks for the excellent experience!

This hotel is incredibly convenient! Whether you're shopping in Umeda, traveling by JR, or heading to the airport, it's just a 3-minute walk to the station. Kim at the front desk was super fluent in English, and even though check-in in Japan is usually at 3 PM, she kindly arranged an early check-in for me after checking the room's readiness. I'm truly grateful to the hotel. Out of my three stays in Osaka this year, the Hilton has been the best!

I loved the view of this hotel from the outside and well as the view from my room. But what I DID NOT LIKE WAS THE BED. The bed was HARDDDDD. Loved the heated toilet seats, and the public bath (it was my first time doing that), the PJ set was nice too, you wear them to the public bath and in the room no where else. They provide you with information on how to properly use the public bath.The room was a decent size for the area. 8 min walk from the subway. 20 min walk from Osaka Castle. The area itself is VERY CALM, not to much going on aside from Osaka Castle.
