"Since I arrived in Guam on an early morning flight, I requested an early check-in in advance, but it was denied. Upon arrival, I walked to the hotel, dropped off my luggage, and waited in the lobby. There were no luggage tags or anything; my bags were simply placed behind the staff, and I had to identify my belongings at check-in. The lobby was spacious and had restrooms, a convenience store, a gym, a pool, and desks and sofas with charging ports. (Since checkout is at 12 PM, it seems you can't access your room until check-in at 3 PM.) After checking in, there were two elevators, but one wasn't working. The operational elevator had a wide gap, so I think parents with small children should be careful of their footing. (It was a bit of a nerve-wracking elevator.) We were given two key cards, but one didn't work. A minor drawback was the shower room and toilet lacking a dividing wall, causing water to splash towards the toilet. I wished for even a simple curtain, perhaps one that could be extended with a tension rod. The mirror in the shower room seemed quite modern, with a defogging button, which was convenient for applying makeup after a shower. The water pressure, well, I don't think anything can beat Japanese water pressure, so I guess it's normal for overseas hotels. The temperature control tended to get hot quickly, but it was relatively easy to adjust. The bed was soft and a bit saggy. Bed making was by request, and typically only involved towel changes."

"The hotel's location is one of the best on the island, surrounded by many restaurants and branded stores. The room was spacious and bright, with complete facilities and all toiletries provided, including a bidet. However, there were some small black flies, and the remote control for the sun shade needed repairing to work properly. Other than that, everything else was good. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of Korean side dishes, probably because there are many Korean guests."

"The place is very beautiful and at walking distance from the airport (it took me 25 min. on foot). The room may have had partial view of the sea, but it was very enjoyable. The room is the size of an apartment and very luxurious with tub, shower, heated & multi-function toilet seats, kettle, big flat TV, air-con and don't remember what else. With the room comes the access to the gym and the swimming pool, which were nice, but not of the level of the rooms. Anyway it would be a pity to use them because Ypao beach is very near and it is simply wonderful with pristine, turquoise, calm and shallow waters thanks to the coral reef. The biggest downside of the place is the price: everything is really overpriced in Guam. Luckily I caught a good offer with huge discount, but otherwise it is crazy expensive. It lacks of affordable options and anyway with the same money in other places it would have been even better."

"The room was spacious, and the hotel is right on the beach, complete with water slides and an infinity pool! For dinner, we chose the restaurant by the beach, and the portions were huge! I recommend ordering a variety of dishes to share. We were so lucky to see a beautiful rainbow-colored sky 😍 It's also not far from shopping malls and restaurants!"

"Compassion and care when we needed it most* Our Guam to Manila flight on April 13 was cancelled due to the typhoon, leaving us stranded for 4 days. They generously (Front Desk Manager) gave us a discount for our extended stay and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind, understanding, and attentive the entire time. You could really feel that they cared. Thank you, Guam Plaza team, for turning a difficult situation into a reminder that there’s still genuine hospitality and kindness in the world. The location is perfect — beachfront in the heart of Tumon Bay, with stunning ocean views from our room balcony and just steps away from the white sandy beach, shopping at DFS Galleria, restaurants, and nightlife.The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with modern amenities and a great bathroom. But the highlight was the beautiful pool complex — multiple pools including a kids’ area with slides, a lazy river, and direct access to one of the best beaches in Guam. The sand is powdery white and the water is crystal clear.The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything felt well-maintained and relaxing. Excellent value for a beach resort experience. Highly recommend Hyatt Regency Guam — we’ll definitely return on our next trip to Guam!”"

"The room was quite spacious, and the hot water was really nice. Parking is free and there are plenty of spots available. The balcony view was absolutely fantastic. The location is great, close to the main road, though not directly by the sea. There are many shops and restaurants just a short walk away, offering plenty of options. I wouldn't recommend having breakfast at the hotel, as there are so many good places to eat nearby."

"I like this place and often book for the infinity pool but I was a bit bummed with this recent booking. The weather wasn’t great, not the hotels fault so I didn’t swim but still enjoyed laying in the pool area. I had upgraded my room this time thinking the beds would be better since they all seem outdated and the higher priced room wasn’t any different. Just had a beach view that I liked. My major is issue was upon check in and how very unnecessarily slow the process was. I’ve worked at hotels before, no one should take this long to check in their guests, especially when the entrance doesn’t turn on their AC for their guests. On top of that I had important dinner plans that were delayed bc I couldn’t get ready in a timely manner due to the outlets being broken and broken hair dryer. I had to blow dry my hair over the toilet. I was happy the manager spoke to be next day she seemed very sweet and I am hoping I am somehow compensated in the near future. I was very disappointed that I booked this stay and hope the hotel can redeem itself."
