"This review is based on the premium double room. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels recently, and what I have to say about this one is, It is not exactly a high market place, but the staff are really friendly, showed me to my room themselves which was a nice touch, no lift mind, with two flights of stairs, but didnt bother me. I felt safe in the hotel with restricted night time access, with guests free to come and go as they pleased via key fob access, and the desk manned 24/7, which is nice, and you don’t feel like your being watched/monitor as you come and go like you can do in some places. There are usb ports in the bedside lamps which is useful, and a hairdryer in the draw. Hand and shower soap dispensers also. And a small tv, and thats it, so quite minimal, But the most important things, the room was nice and a good size, and the bed was very comfy, better than most I’ve stayed in. Also the bed was solid, didn’t move, squeak or bang around. Which is an underrated quality, especially for a king size bed in a couples room."

"Excellent standard of room with individual heating and air-conditioning. Breakfast was wonderful, very good quality ingredients and very relaxed buffet. Location very handy for Harvester next door and a nice 24 hour bar in reception area. Free parking too!"

"Great stay as always, although warm the new fans were great and did what they needed to do, Breakfast was fantastic so tasty. They were having a new bar area fitted and it didn’t impact at all and will only make it better in the social. Plenty of parking great food and staff can’t do enough for you so friendly and helpful thank you."

"Great experience. Clean and tidy communal areas, room & bathroom. Atmosphere was happy, welcoming, very helpful. Great value for money as it was a Friday night! No issues with noise. Location was perfect. I'd particularly like to mention Ben on the night shift, he was there when I checked in and was very welcoming, kind and considerate. I was staying over to collect my rescue dog from abroad and he definitely made my experience better than I could have expected! Thank you!"

"The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and the hotel is well situated. The cleanliness could be improved and the Beefeater pub closed at 10pm when it is advertised as being open until 11pm. This was disappointing and the supervisor told us that they weren't busy enough to stay open, there were around 10 people in the bar."

"Its nice to arrive with such a warm welcome from the start of your stay. The receptionist was delightful. Our room if a little outdated was very clean and located in a quite location. The breakfast offerings were as expected with Premier Inn just "First Class". Thank you for a great stay and i will see you again."
